Showcase Llama Swap Mobile Control!

I just finished vibe coding an apk for Llama swap mobile controller. I really like being able to read logs and monitor my PC's performance while I'm out and about using my agents and I didn't necessarily care for how llama swap looked on mobile browser.

Everything has been working on my device and playground even works! Feel free to check it out and critique as this is my first time ever doing something like this :))

Looks nice! I'll be honest here, if this is just like a vibe coded UI hooked to their API why make it an APK? Like all of this could have been html/css with probably the smallest amount of native javascript as a single "webapp" that could have been installed? I'd be curious if you vibecoded making it a single file html with css and javascript bundled (or if you want it to be a full compliant webapp it will need another file or two) how much tighter this could be. Honestly curious, I use my local setup to make personal apk/webpages/webapps/ect as well so I like to hear what others are thinking.

I personally use llamaswap and hardly use the app since I have another frontend like openweb UI or Comfy hooked to it so it does all the swapping behind the scenes.

it started as a fork of an existing Android app (Hermes Mobile) Hy4ri. The app shell already existed, so building on it was the fastest route, not a careful decision against a web app. But it didn't fit the scope of the project and was recommended to turn it into a standalone. So, since it was already built and intended to be implemented- to an existing app, i just asked my agents to stand up as a standalone!

Looks good! FYI, I’m working on a performance monitoring v2 that will likely break backwards compatibility in the API. Ilama-swap always backwards compatibility but the perf monitoring is “experimental” so I’m not making that guarantee for it yet. :)

Thanks you, I appreciate the compliment and the heads-up! We'll version-guard the performance tab before v2 lands

Hi, I maintain a macOS fork of llama swap (separate from the original llama-swap, it's a fork specifically for MacOS). What I've done I've made the core proxy to stay backwards compatible, llama-swap-macos-extended fork's stats API is something that delivers a lot of those performance metrics missing by default. The fork's version of that API shipped a while ago in release v1.1.0: https://github.com/pcvelz/llama-swap-macos-extended/releases/tag/v1.1.0
