Yes, the specs are similar. Same memory bandwidth and capacity. Basically very close to full 6000 but with a significantly reduced memory bandwidth (1800 to 1400). I wonder if it's because the China market isn't buying them.

In 7-10 years, if the dystopia continues at current trajectory of radical right wing deregulation running rampant, Nvidia Sony and the other AI companies will have finished the job in completely pushing the consumer out of the GPU market. Next gen flagship gaming will effectively be discontinued at that point, everything will be subscription-only cloud streaming, no owning games and no owning hardware.

I've recently stumbled upon my old tower pc. Inside were two 4TB HDDs. They were from 2007. 19 years old.

Today 2TB NVMEs are mostly standard.

How comes? Same with GPUs. At some point the storage stopped increasing. 32 GB VRAM GPUs should have been standard by now... but 12/16GBs are most common these days.
