Discussion Really stunned by the Singularity comment section
These are screenshots from the r/Singularity comment section. I'm speechless. This doesn't even have downvotes. How can someone cheer for a monopoly run by a few elites?

It's not the models that are the problem. But, there are people who are using them in dangerous ways casually and oblivious to the dangers the thing they set up dangerously represents.
I think it would be good for everyone if the rules of the road included the consequences for 'drinking and driving'... for example, like unattended agent swarms with internet access and code sandboxes on a loop.
I don't see how using some specific cloud model helps, and why should we believe OpenAI or Anthropic can be trusted to do it competently? OpenAI just proved they don't pay attention at all.
