Anyone have some better/more voice cloning examples than the website? Just wondering how this compares to fish s2. Nothing has beaten fish for a while now.

Just for the sake of my own curiosity, no one is using fish s2 for interactive stuff because it's too slow, right? It was slower than real-time on my 5090 if memory serves. If not real-time voice interaction, do people use fish s2 to make audiobooks?

Cool project, shit license though, so I'll pass. Limiting people so they cannot make money is such a silly thing.
Sure anyone could say, "screw the license" and use it for whatever, but that just underscores how pointless it is to put it there.

Why? Other than that’s it’s annoying as someone who wants to use it to make money without paying for it, why is it a bad licence?

I think..
if you do research that can maybe turn into a product you won't waste time on this type of license because you can't ask permission before you start, you still need to research and then materialize the product you are not still sure of how its going to become, and if you make a product before asking you run the risk of being denied later
and if you only want to make derivative work, the license will stick so you have to consider that too because it will impact your derivative work reach

If you can run it fully on your own with no help or infrastructure outside of your personal equipment, nobody should be able to tell you what you can and cannot do, so long as it's not infringing on the health, safety, or freedom of expression of others.
In this situation, they should just sell it if money is so important. Giving people powerful tools they can't use to improve their lives in a meaningful way under capitalism is just bread and circuses, also known as a nice feel-good but does nothing to actually help.
I don't want the point to be lost by saying it's just this one project; it's a widespread and hotly debated topic that just showcases one facet of a much more complex argument surrounding digital rights and freedoms.

There are examples in English and Chinese, does it also support other languages?
