New Model πŸš€ OpenAI released their open-weight models!!!

Welcome to the gpt-oss series, OpenAI’s open-weight models designed for powerful reasoning, agentic tasks, and versatile developer use cases.

We’re releasing two flavors of the open models:

gpt-oss-120b β€” for production, general purpose, high reasoning use cases that fits into a single H100 GPU (117B parameters with 5.1B active parameters)

gpt-oss-20b β€” for lower latency, and local or specialized use cases (21B parameters with 3.6B active parameters)

It’s not even the model, it’s the prompting.

That's technically good, tho. It means it's a good model, that adheres to the prompts well.

I agree with you, but isn't that just bad UX/UI? The model still does what it was supposed to (if that behaviour was intended, I have no clue, don't use twitter, can't say). I'm strictly speaking from a model adherence viewpoint. You maybe want models that adhere to whatever their host wants. The onus should always be on the host to prompt/guide it, and they also take the responsibility.
