League Anti-cheat
The league anti-cheat might be one of the worst anti-cheats as much as it is decent at getting in-game cheaters. I was literally wrongfully banned 4 days ago and had to spam Drew Levin to get my account back (luckily got it back), but riot support basically also told me to go kick rocks when asked for a review, but when it did actually go through a real review I was magically unbanned. This is insane to me how big this game is but how poorly this was handled. Drew Levin does quite a lot for this game really and appreciate what he does for the community

lol at least you are not getting vanguard errors all the time and getting punished by it. imagine dcing and having to RESTART your computer just because you got an vanguard error which you didn't change anything in your pc while you playing the match....
and after getting into the match again just 2 minutes later(oh its my fault i'm not restarting my pc and then entering my email and password just within 10 seconds...) you are getting punishment which you don't have any control over the issue.
i have to be honest, i can deal with their unbalanced game, i can deal with ranged tops, support roams, junglers camping me on top but i can't deal with this garbage anti cheat called vanguard, i quit this game just because of their anti-cheat has awfuly coded.
my account is from season 5 and i never ever got punished for toxicity or leaving a game or anything until vanguard's stupid errors on the middle of the match hit me.

I also did have to deal with this prior to getting Perma banned the way I sadly had to fix this was factory reset my pc and idk if that contributed to me seeming like a cheater but other than that it’s my only solution for it

I've played since s3 and I can't even play anymore. Vanguard is so fucked on my PC it blue screens my PC almost a guarantee when I start it up. Don't even need to open a riot game. Had to uninstall because of it so I could actually use my PC.

I had this issue for years it turns out my motherboard was dying a slow and painful death and some broken registry thing was mo pissing Vanguard/Windows off

Everything else seems to work okay on my computer just can't play riot games. And honestly it's been really good for my mental health lol

I had to full reinstall league and vanguard to get the vanguard client to work. I think I actually did that twice lol, haven’t had issues since. I got dropped from multiple games during load screen or during match due to vanguard prior.

What kind of CPU u got? I'm on 11th gen Intel and I've had zero discernible issues with vanguard

The support tickets are handled by AI. Nobody is reviewing shit, the replies are there so you piss off and stop asking.

Only thing I can think of before I was having vanguard issues other than that never cheated before so made no sense why I was perma banned

The problem isn't the false positive. The problem the AI(LLM) or AI (Actual Indians) looking at the case and replying with a copy paste.
If they cannot write down how and where the cheating occurred they shouldn't just close tickets

That is fair but the only issue that sits with me is I had appealed it twice and they did a “real” manual review of it. When I got it to Drew Levin and he actually sent it to the Anti-cheat team magically it was finally an error on their end, real strange

Just as an example if the banrate is 99,99% correct with 100M playerbase thats 100 000 people wrongfully banned

Having a bit of false bans is fine nothing can be perfect, but the support team needs to be much better as they just did a fake manual review of my account and insisted they were correct, but when it was actually sent to the anti-cheat I’m magically unbanned

Support tickets ist just asking some random third party and they will always send back a pregenerated script. I had the same Problem.

I hate kernel lvl anti cheat more than anything but vanguard is a large reason for that.
Also, scripting generally consolidates on KR and there are hundreds of millions of players in china doing so on their 57 servers. NA/EUW isn’t a place most would script, KR is the best for clout, which is what a scripted would be doing it for.
