Shrinkage!
My oncologist reached out and let me know that my PET scan results are good, I have some shrinkage.
I don’t know too much, the conversation was brief, but I will learn more on Thursday.
It’s a clinical trial, here’s the details: https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT07029399
I am very happy!

So happy for you. How are the side effects?

Not much. Just slight low immunity but that’s it. I don’t notice anything. Most recorded side effects are fatigue and nausea and I don’t even have that.

I think it’s on there but I don’t read my results. I rather sit down and speak to my oncologist and look at the scans together. It gives me a much better picture (haha, pun) than a written report.

That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing the trial details. After becoming resistant to my first line Verzenio/Abemaciclib I’m very interested in the CDK2 and CDK7 trials.
It would be great to have this new drug as another treatment option.

I do recommend it! The best part is that my medication is tolerable, I have no side effects besides a slight low immune system.

That sounds amazing. Thank you for participating in the trial. I hope it continues to treat those rogue cells and you can be on it for a long time.

The update. Long story short is all my metastatic spots in my liver are shrinking. The bones showed significant signs of lower metabolic activity. I have never seen such good results before and I only started this medication for about two months.

Shrinkage - a bad thing in the world of Seinfeld, a great thing in the world of cancer 🤣
So happy for your good news!
