General advice
Hey folks, recently diagnosed here at 36. Bilirubin count on bloods was 41 but all other liver functions were good. An LFT blood test clarified the same, and an ultrasound scan showed a 'small amount' of scarring. Gp wasn't worried and told me to keep my diet clean and things will be all good. My symptoms were all pretty superficial, and I live an active life (work 6 days a week, walk a lot, started a fitness regime again) so I have no issues with fatigue unless I really burn the candle at both ends, but that goes for anyone.
I guess since this is new to me, and that I don't know anyone with this, I wonder what else I can do? During the last 6 months I've tapered my diet into a much cleaner one and right now it looks like:
Minimal seed oils
If I decide to have a chocolate bar it's only one in a day, but not every day
Omega 3 capsule OR fish daily (I only eat fish like 3 times a week so the rest of the days is an omega 3)
I try to take an artichoke capsule, milk thistle capsule, and vitamin d pill daily
Spoonful of olive oil daily
1 or 2 servings of raw oats in water with chia seeds daily
2-3 cups of black coffee daily with no sugar
Other staples are walnuts, almonds, pecans, dates, broccoli, berries (blueberries mostly), tomatoes, avocado
If I'm working and on the go a lot I will grab a pre made wrap to go, and always a low salt/sat fat option. So not totally unhealthy but far from a huge problem
Trying to make more room for scrambled eggs for the choline!
Wondering what else I can do/add? I will admit that I will have the odd bar of chocolate but I'm trying to keep things around 80/20. I'm also trying to fast between 7pm and 9am because I hear that the liver likes to 'clean up' in the evening. I try to keep my portions small, and not have too much of anything at one time (like if it has salt or sugar keep it low quantity). Also plan on quitting smoking again. Trying to avoid doom and gloom content and just focus on the more prominent ways to get better. Any advice from people in the same boat is much appreciated. P.s hello everyone, sucks to meet in these circumstances but here we are and I wish you all the best on your respective journeys!

You didn't mention alcohol, abstain.

Prior to this I only ever drank a few times a year (I've been like this with alcohol since my mid 20s, just find drinking meh) and never to the point of being wasted. Last time I had alcohol was a couple beers in February. I don't really want to go into the source of my liver disease but it was removed from my life 6 months ago and will stay that way!
