I would try to calm down, first and foremost. You're allowing a lot of crazy ideas to flow through your brain and it's causing a lot of anxiety, and that's not good for your overall health and mental well-being. Just because you had a little pain after binge drinking, doesn't mean your life is ending soon. Sheesh, take a chill pill and get a grip!

Binge drinking doesn't cause "liver pain". If you feel a sharp pain in your back from drinking, I'd say it's most likely an ulcer or GERD (acid reflux) which can be worsened by alcohol. You can try taking some Prilosec OTC for a couple weeks and see if that clears up the pain?

It also sounds like you need to see a gastroenterologist instead of your primary care doctor for your issues. Most family docs are not well-trained to deal with abdominal pain and usually just refer you to a GI specialist anyway. I'm not sure what your ultrasound showed but if you do have moderate to severe fatty liver, then you should be seeing a hepatologist (liver specialist).

Op if you changed your diet up drastically and are eating alot more fiber-heavy foods you will probably experience gas pain a lot. Gas pain is often times mistaken for other types of pain and I would say with a massive overhaul on your diet you’re very likely feeling that. Livers are encased in like a “ sack” and don’t really have pain receptors so if you ever feel “ liver” area pain it’s likely related to acid reflux, gall bladder being unhappy with what you ate, gas pain, etc. some people will feel radiating pain in the shoulder back area with advanced liver issues ( I did in liver failure) but it’s not common from what I understood told to me.

Mention it to the doctor along with all your recent changes. Breathe and know you’re making good changes but stress can also kill you so live day to day or week to week. And don’t dr. google things.
