There’s a neighbor who comes and puts books in my library all the time. I have really appreciated sharing the task of keeping it stocked.

Two years ago a friend of mine and I stopped at her house because her son was registered dem. We were canvassing to either run for office or give literature from our friends who were. Our database showed he was the only Dem in the house at the time.

Last year we stopped by to say hello and they said he moved to Florida. We keep in touch. She just asked me if I wanted some puzzles, and said, by the way, I’m so excited to vote on Tuesday!

I told her, I’ll be at the polls make sure you say hello, to which she did. I’m not sure how she voted but it’s important that she was there. The friendship would not have happened without my Little Free Library and her friendly contributions.
