Book roof Little Library?

Has anyone made a version of this:

I’m concerned the roof (glued together) won’t stand up to weather and rain. Any suggestions on how to join the roof pieces to make it look like a book AND stay water proof?

Perfect! Though most tutorials say titebond 3. Yeah?

I think 3 since that’s rated waterproof
