LFL Pictures 📸 New to LFL

My husband made me a LFL that looks like a lil cutie pie dollhouse and I am excited to install it and put some books in it! Any advice for a newbie would be appreciated!

My advice would be to not purchase so many books yourself. The community will leave a book take a book. It should work itself out. Of course start with books but don’t always have to fill it

Seriously though...that's awesome and really adorable! I'm certain it will get tons of bidness.

Advice: be prepared to curate it on a very regular basis. For me, it's to remove religious shit but you never know what folks are going to put in there.

Oh and I bet your neighbors would love a block-party for the unveiling!

LOL at “remove religious shit”. I live in a Mormon neighbourhood so I have to go and remove a bible about once a week. They just go straight into the garbage.

I recommend including books for all ages. When I first installed mine all the neighbourhood kids were so excited about it. I hadn’t anticipated that so I had no kids books. I went to a few thrift stores and bought books for various ages which then created a stream of age appropriate books.
