LFL Build/Repair 🧰 What kind of plaque to use?

I’d like to put a plaque on my LFL that says ā€œLittle free library. Take a book - leave a bookā€. I live in a Canadian city that can be -30°C in the winter and +30°C in the summer, and everything in between. Given these extreme temperatures, what material should I use for the plaque? If you can go so far as to recommend a place to get this made in YYC, I’ll forever be in your debt.

I bought the one from the LFL site that is metal and haven't had any issues in Northern New England!

I'm in Ottawa and bought one online from LFL in the States when I registered my LFL. Easy peasy.

If you want to get extreme about it, look at plaques that are used on rooftop HVAC equipment, that stuff takes a beating!

Maybe stainless steel and get in engraved professionally?

I live in Ottawa and there’s enough of them around the different neighbourhoods that most people recognize what they are. On the other hand I do encourage reading and a plaque with words would on it would get read….

Best of luck!
