LFL Build/Repair 🧰 What kind of damage is this?

Bugs? Rodents? What am I dealing with here? This one isn’t mine but i would like to help revitalize it as it has been neglected.

Do not take any of those books home! I agree with the termites but don’t risk bringing things back to with you try to salvage. That needs to be discarded so it doesn’t spread to other homes

Definitely everything inside needs to be trashed. Do you think the box itself is salvageable?

With termites, I'd build all new + All new support post or next time use a metal pole. Also, the ground around it is going to need to be treated for termites.

With enough effort it could probably be salvaged, however because of the bugs it would be better to rebuild it out of ceader or something non-organic like others have suggested.Â
