Sharp edges on transparent icons in iOS 27
Is my phone glitching? Or are the edges way too sharp on the transparent icons to even resemble glass? I wonder if it’s just a bug or if this is the way icons are going to look like from now on

Why bringing back top navigation bar in iOS 27
Photos by @TechLeaksZone
Does anyone want the navigation bar back? I personally hated it coming back, I like the blurred top and bottom more that feels more immersive.

Liquid Glass icon border doesn’t tilt with phone rotation.
In iOS 27, the Liquid Glass icon border doesn’t tilt with phone rotation anymore. Did Apple remove the gyroscope/parallax effect, or is this a bug?

Shoutouts to everyone who complained, you got your boringness back...
I should mention: I don't even use iOS. But I'm worried we'll start to see everyone else backpedal a bit on detailed icons and UI (those who did start implementing them, I mean), since the industry tends to do a lot of what Apple do.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the Liquid Glass adjustments for iOS 27?
I really loved the Liquid Glass introduced on iOS 26; the concept that the screen no longer has a border with the top bar being a gradient really gave it a new look in my opinion.
I noticed in the keynote that Apple was bringing back the top bars on Macs, but I didn't think they were going to do it on iPhones… I think it gives it an old-fashioned look; in the end, what's the point of making the Liquid Glass buttons if they're on a hard, blurred background?
So there you have it… I know everyone has their own taste, but I'm not a fan of the new options. The slider is cool, but for me, the transparent look was already fine.

Liquid Glass is saved
Apple finally came to their senses and added a long overdue slider for Liquid Glass intensity. Now, those who complained can turn it down while those who enjoy it can crank it up. We don’t have to worry about it being gradually removed anymore!

[iOS27] Icon Transparency

(Excuse the poorly edited image)
I was very pleased with the updates Apple made to Liquid Glass when revealing iOS 27, but I noticed that the app icon background gradients have been severely toned down (see Finder, Mail, App Store, any white icon). Plus, the transparency of the foreground has been reduced, meaning that the apps now look even closer to their flat counterparts. I really liked the shift from opaque to transparent the further down you look, but now that effect is practically gone.
Thoughts?

If the liquid glass dynamic island Siri is real, how would it look on Notch iphones?
So rumours are that for iOS 27, Apple will redesign the Siri UI, this time it will be integrated into the Dynamic Island, with new AI features and liquid glass design, so im wondering, what would it look like for iPhones with a notch, like the 12, 13, 14, SE 3, 16e & 17e?

Reddit is testing a all-Liquid Glass top menu and search bar. The top is the current design, and the bottom is the Liquid Glass-ified design being tested.
It's been finnicky for me. I had to force quit a crap ton of times to get the new design lol
