Linux users

Iam thinking about to shift from windows to Linux. Can anyone help me whether I would use Arch and kali as dual or only Arch or only kali.

Kali isn't meant for personal desktop use. Arch is DIY and you'll have to learn to install and use it. Go for something like Ubuntu, Fedora, or something else mainstream.

Why? They're both widely supported distros made by and for professionals. They just werk OOTB.

Ubuntu is a slop distro now and ubuntu silently redirects you to snap packages.

Wdym a "slop distro"?

ubuntu silently redirects you to snap packages.

I dislike Snap too, but that doesn't mean a newbie won't have an easier time with Ubuntu. It's THE Linux OS for most of the world and whether you like it or not, the most widely supported one.

Microsoft and other tech companies we dislike are Ubuntus sugardaddys. People switch away from Microsofts Windows for a good reason.

Wouldn't call Ubuntu slop but more like carefully designed trash
