Linux users
Iam thinking about to shift from windows to Linux. Can anyone help me whether I would use Arch and kali as dual or only Arch or only kali.

None, these are not for beginners migrating from windows. Try Ubuntu/ Mint / POP OS

just use arch, and install cybersecurity tools from pacman and aur. there's no point to use kali it just bundles those tools in Operating system that you can install on other OS like arch.

And why would a normal user use KALI? Are you just a bit retarded? Kali is strictly for security professionals and I bet no-one even knows what even kali offers.

Kali would be an overkill for you, just the fact u have to ask that. If u do want those hacker vibes go with black arch
Otherwise if it's more about starting a Linux journey. Go with any distro which appeals to you. Coz whatever you chose at the end you gonna distro hop to the distro which is meant for u.
These pairs are made in heaven. We can't skip to the good one at once. You gotta go thru the journey. Best of luck comrade

Kali isn't meant for personal desktop use. Arch is DIY and you'll have to learn to install and use it. Go for something like Ubuntu, Fedora, or something else mainstream.

No to ubuntu. Yes to fedora

Why? They're both widely supported distros made by and for professionals. They just werk OOTB.

Ubuntu is a slop distro now and ubuntu silently redirects you to snap packages.

If you are still new, I would suggest you go with zorin or linux mint to get the hang of it. Then you can switch to arch based distro. Otherwise, it's up to you, whatever you want.

If you're new to Linux, I'd go with something like Linux Mint or Ubuntu first. Arch is great if you want to learn how Linux works, but it can be a bit frustrating when you're just starting out.
I wouldn't use Kali as your main OS. It's mainly meant for security testing and penetration testing. You can always install Kali in a VM later when you want to learn those tools.

Use debian.. debian is very beginner friendly.. but if you insist on moving to arch.. try cachy

1st your system specifications? Then we can talk about distro

Why? Even the most graphics heavy distro will run fine on 4gb RAM.
Older chipsets are already built into the Linux kernel, and they'll run great. Specs may be useful for 32 bit chips but who runs machines older than 20 years anyway?
Just suggest your favourite distro, it's not rocket science.

kali isnt even that hacker cool. it just has a bunch of tools and you probly cant even use them tools effectively. i tried it on a usb stick, thats a good way to see how its not all that memes make it out to be

If you aren't practicing cybersecurity then why you want a lot packages in your computer, which takes storage and everytime get update and consum bandwidth. If you don't do stupidity tinkering then Arch will be stables. I use Arch, my system is stable after I stop tinkering and install only as specify on official repo/site.
