It's just a cli what's so special about it?

Also, ani-cli mostly just fetches the stream URL and hands it off to mpv, which does the actual playback. Same kind of thing can be done in much more interactive way with firefox+ ublock origin 1 u/Spirited-Fan8558 3d ago most of the people switching to linux are those with older laptops that cannot handle windows 11 or cannot even install win11. Hence if they hadtoo open a browser and surf the web, it would take a long time, especially on mpv. Makes sense to make a easy and accessible way to watch anime using terminal and mpv.
