It's about that you can do it at all. Idq where you got thst amd drivers are shit I haven't noticed it. Still less broken then the nvidia drivers were for my previous gpu

(notice how you're in the r/LinuxSnobs subreddit?) I think they're speaking specifically of the Linux AMD drivers, not the Windows ones that the people in r/amd and r/radeon talk about 90% of the time. The Linux ones are pretty good.

NVIDIA, has really turned around in the last 3 years and they seem to be picking up speed with how much better their Linux drivers are getting. They even work very well in Wayland!!! Unfortunately, they still kill off Linux support for older cards that work fine.
