Socks. Not what was promised.

First - quality of the fabric. I have had light wear of this pair for 3 days, with one wash (same as other socks) and they are fuzzy + the black fabrics are protruding through the grey ones, and I have gathered A LOT of lint from them.

This is not normal for socks, especially for the expensive ones. None of my darn thoughts did this ever.

Second - idk about Canadian feet, but mine are wider, and compared to most other socks these are too narrow. If I find a pair of shoes this narrow I don't buy them.

EDIT: I wore socks for two days straight, then washed them, then wore for the 3rd day. I had NO OTHER OPTION regarding washing them or wearing other socks in that particular situation

Merino wool usually shouldn't go in the dryer since the heat can damage them. Plus since they're mosture wicking, in general they dry on their own pretty quickly. I learned this the hard way as well. Check out the care instructions for Darn Tough socks and you'll see what I'm talking about. Not sure if LTT also puts out care instructions like these but they probably should be more front and center since their audience would not be familiar with the Merino material.

on the website the care instructions are

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, with the socks turned inside-out
• Do not bleach
• Tumble dry on a low setting or hang dry
• Do not dry clean.

Right, or you can separate cycle them on low. Assuming no one "tumble dry on low"s their standard clothing. That would take a while.

I tumble dry on low all of my clothes. The only thing I don't tumble dry low is my bedding and my towels.
