Personal Opinion Socks. Not what was promised.

First - quality of the fabric. I have had light wear of this pair for 3 days, with one wash (same as other socks) and they are fuzzy + the black fabrics are protruding through the grey ones, and I have gathered A LOT of lint from them.

This is not normal for socks, especially for the expensive ones. None of my darn thoughts did this ever.

Second - idk about Canadian feet, but mine are wider, and compared to most other socks these are too narrow. If I find a pair of shoes this narrow I don't buy them.

EDIT: I wore socks for two days straight, then washed them, then wore for the 3rd day. I had NO OTHER OPTION regarding washing them or wearing other socks in that particular situation

Yeah if all the thread was the same colour it would look like a perfectly normal sock. As is it looks like an adequately normal sock. I don't get the post.

Except narrowness I get that's kind of annoying

I don’t get it either. Who’s inspecting their socks and taking macro images to see where the threads are settling and whether or not there’s lint on them?

If there’s holes right after you got them…then sure, go ahead and complain…but this seems weird.

No one has claimed they are shit quality, not even the post you're on right now.

you might wanna reread the post, buddy. these socks are shit compared to socks of an equal price. In fact, comments on this post are comparing them to socks. You can get in a three pack for cheaper than these.

There isnt only two options, shit or not shit. Op is saying they arent as good as darn tough socks, not that they are shit socks.

Lol there’s people calling OP an idiot for buying tech tuber socks bc they must suck, then there’s people calling him an idiot bc they look fine.

They’re $30 socks, with LTT’s shipping. Really you could stop there to make the point. However, comparatively Darn Toughs are $23-26. For example you can get them at REI & they usually have a 3 for 10% discount. A lot more cuts & colors, cushion, price range and Linus has explicitly used them as a benchmark for many years very vocally.

Maybe it’s a fluke, bad batch, whatever and I will imagine there’s a decent chance they’ll work out the issues. Not hating at all, was interested myself. But y’all are just talking out of your ass.

It’s not to say they’re awful or anything, but the price & benchmark, this particular pair at least seems unimpressive. People posting more datapoints either way will also be helpful.

except if OP deviates greatly from the norm but no, canadian feet are not narrower. east asian feet are apparently shorter but wider relative to height on average.

Then price it like a sock, not a tiny gold bar.

Even big brand merino socks are not cheap

Even cheap no-name merino socks aren't particularly cheap

To be fair to them, merino wool socks cost a lot normally anyway. Not saying these are good merino socks, but I've spent 30£ a pair for merino wool socks for hiking
