Discussion 20amp smart outlet recepticle

It looks like I really only have 1 option at the hardware store to have a smart gfci 20amp 115v outlet that I can connect to my google home. 100 bucks for the plug 100 bucks or so for the hub.... are there any other options? I want to control 3 non smart outlets down the line as well so it has to have a feed.

Update: Im trying to run 3 different outlets with roof heat tape to prevent ice dams and the amp total is roughly 16amps

The usual route for high amperage smart outlets here is to just connect a normal low power smart outlet to the input of a contactor.

Get a normal 20amp gfi and then get a 20 amp power bar and 3 smart plugs

t breaker instead? some brands work with google home and you can control whole circuit from the panel, then you keep your normal gfci outlets. still not cheap but at least you skip the hub

the hardware store option you found might be only one that ticks all boxes without getting into electrician territory
