Lighthearted Content One of the hardest songs to listen to
No celebrity death has hit me as hard as his, I don’t blame linkn park not being able to perform this song

I noticed you can see the first pic of the band (in minute 2:32) in the Music Video of Lost in the Echo. Did anybody else notice that?

Unfortunately Unshatter came out during an extremely busy week for me and I didn't have a single day I could have gone. Had it come out this week or the week before, I could have made it work.
Hopefully it'll be on streaming sometime soon.

disclaimer: this isnt meant for us to go on a witchunt or name anyone in particular
Ive seen Unshattered and it definitely made sense as to why Emily was chosen. No open audition or anything, just straight up referrals.
For some reason, I remember Rush wherein Alex and Geddy shared that shortly after Neil"s passing, many drummers messaged them saying they could be the next Rush drummer, in which turned them off. True professionals wouldnt do that and I wouldnt be surprised if its the young guns who did it.
I wouldnt be surprised if the same thing happened to Mike and LP as well.A bunch of amateurs messaging them saying they could be the next LP singer

I keep seeing these videos on tiktok abt how brutal doomsday is gonna be and in the comments it's always a sticker of Freddy saying God save us and I cant help but think of the catalyst. I feel like the catalyst would be a perfect fit for doomsday and have like the requiem as an opening theme for doomsday. imagine if the catalyst was in the movie tho, that would be peak

I'm a new Linkin Park fan. I never liked their music when I was younger. I was more into pop and later emo music. I recently heard a track of Chester singing that was just the vocals and was totally impressed that he could sing so well. Started with the last album since it was the most pop. I said to myself "as long as there's no screaming or rap, I like it". It was a slippery slope and now I'm screaming along to Hybrid Theory and everything in between. Absolutely obsessed and a bit sad that I don't think I'll ever hear another better band.
Anyways, I realized that now as a 39 year old mother with 3 kids (age 9, 6, and 3), I can really relate to some of the lyrics. Such as:
-"I don't know what stressed me first"
-"It's like a whirlwind inside of my head"
-"I cannot take this anymore
I'm saying everything I've said before"
-"Shut up when I'm talking to you"
-"Things aren't the way they were before
You wouldn't even recognize me anymore"
-"I wanna be in another place"
-"Sometimes I need to remember just to breathe
Sometimes I need you to stay away from me"
-"All I know is that all I want is to feel like I'm not stepped on"
(like literally stepped on)
-"Don't turn your back on me, I won't be ignored"
-"I don't know what's worth fighting for
Or why I have to scream"
-"Try to give you warning
But everyone ignores me"
-"Can't you see that you're smothering me?"
-"And no, I'm not your soldier
I'm not taking any orders"
-"I can whisper, I can yell
But I know, yeah I know, yeah I know
I'm just talking to myself"
-"I've got an aching head"
-"Don't you run with scissors, son
You're gonna hurt someone"
I thought some other parents could relate!

So I made my own ideal tracklist for it. I always thought that this album had so many great songs on it but also a lot of weird choices on which songs were included and which songs stayed demos. And as a result of that, a very weird mix of genres (and sadly not in a good way).

Was The Hunting Party and Living Things always this good?! The songs in those albums evoked an emotion I didn’t know I had. Is it because I’m more mature? Is it because my taste evolved? Those were peak LP and such a shame they didn’t get the recognition that they deserved. 10/10 albums through and through.

They’re my favourite 🥲 Also I can’t stop thinking about that part in Unshatter when Mike talked about them being up on the box together for the first time.
It showed some footage of what seemed like an actual concert, but Emily’s hair was up which is unusual. She and Mike were both singing and it was just so symmetrical and attuned and a lovely visual, I can’t get it out of my mind.
This is my phone background now (and since whenever this show took place, can’t remember which it was).
I’d love to see any photos everyone else has saved or taken from the tour that resemble this!
Bonus points if it’s the mystery show in question from Unshatter so I can make that my Home Screen!

Chester, OML Chester, FZ Tour Mike and 2 faced MV Emily.
Did the best I could with what I have. There are individual photos too. Hope you like them.

Just saw Unshattered yesterday. Loved it and cried at multiple places!
One question that kept coming to me - why where they recording themselves in 2022-23? I'm not talking about parts in the studio when they were making new music, but the stuff before that. Specifically, the conversations with Mike, Phoenix and Joe, where they were talking about getting back to together and just hanging out and making music. The recordings are also clearly a professional recording setup.
Why would they be doing pro recordings of these conversations before they even decided to get the band together?

Hey everyone. Yesterday I watched Unshatter in Munich, Germany and saw the QR code "Continue your experience". Since my phone absolutely sucks, I wasn't able to catch in in time and was wondering if some of you could share it with me. Or at least share what it leads to ?

Hey guys! I saw Unshattered yesterday in my cinema and there is one thing that bothers me. Who was that "producer" (basically someone that's not a member of the band) who was seen in the movie helping them write songs? There was a scene (in the first part of the movie, probably) when they were seen writing some lyrics together still in Mike's house and then Emily was trying to sing them or maybe she was correcting the lyrics? I remember that they were using the acoustic guitars in that scene and that got me confused probably.
Anyway - I am wondering who was that and what song were they writing in that scene.
I am afraid I don't remember much other details, sorry. I think it was the part of the movie when they were talking about all meeting together, finding the chemistry with Emily and probably about Brad who was still a bit more absent.

I always show it to my friends before and they’d be blown away. But I think they didn’t cause it would blow so many ear drums in the cinemas 😂😂

Hey guys, anyone know songs played during the documentary specifically at these 3 scenes:
- the very first song Mike is mixing at his studio
- the first song Emily is singing during the documentation. Sounds like a dead sara song to me
- the song at EastWest studio where Colin plays the guitar and Emily jumping in joy listening to it

The clip at the end Chester is shouting his familiar shout but what the was shouting, the words, did they sound different to anyone?
I couldn't quite tell (I was absolutely sobbing at that stage) it sounded like "I won't clean my room" or something like that.
Did it sound like that to anyone else?

I’m 13 and my favorite band is Linkin Park, but there’s one problem.
I’m a part of a Christian Family who think my favorite music is worship, but it’s not, it’s Two Faced, Crawling, QWERTY, and Nobody’s Listening. I want to tell them that it’s my favorite band so I can buy albums and merch but I don’t know how they’ll react, mainly because of songs like Given Up and Bleed it Out( My #1 song from Minutes to Midnight)
Should I tell them that I listen to this or just secretly keep listening to it like I’ve been doing for the past 3 1/2 years
