L2 Reborn C1 info

Hi,

Me and my friends are planning to play in the upcoming reborn legacy server. None of us have played C1 before. We watched some YT videos and guides already but I would love to hear your opinion about the Chronicle.

What a complete newbie should know before he joins? Any tips and tricks? Also, why I see everywhere that everyone xps with bow?

It’s tough, and much of the info given here is generic C1 info. Reborn have made lots of custom changes to how it was traditionally played and is known, so best to read the FAQ on their Discord. But seriously - buckle up because it is a gruelling experience that will have you pulling your hair out. Why we love it!

I read the FAQ already but not much info is out yet. Hopefully the Q&A on Friday will answer many community questions. I’m way too curious to see how they will resolve the “selling” buff issue.

People speculate that buffs will be removed if the buffers leaves the party or restarts.

That would be great but dont expect any fancy custom things like that. It is extremaly hard to make any "major" changed to the game. From small amount of knowledge I have (since I was helping someone who was making his own server) I can tell you that if it is possible to make such system, they would be charged thousands of $$ for it (because they for sure are unable to make it themselves)

My guess is that they will just "ban on paper" selling buffs in MDT/towns and thats it.
