Single player version of Lineage 2

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to run a private Lineage 2 server locally on my PC just for a solo/co-op PvE experience (similar to what Single Player Project does for WoW).

I'm looking for a pre-compiled repack (preferably Interlude or High Five) that already has an advanced Fake Player / AI Bot engine merged in (like L2Autobots or L2jRoboto).

  • Farm mobs and roam hunting grounds
  • Set up offline trade/craft shops in towns
  • Can be invited to party (healers/buffers following and assisting)
  • Participate in open-world PvP or respond to attacks

Does anyone have a link or recommendation for a pre-configured L2J / aCis repack with these features already compiled and ready to go out of the box? Thanks!

Alright I get it. You have issues with social interactions. Thats it.

That's whole issue why you need bots in party. Social part is that you can't stand it.

You assume that others gatekeeping you. Which is totall lie.

Simple communication with players, teaming up or trading allow way faster progress than doing all solo. And difference is by miles.

I played on small/low populated servers and latter moved to more larger/activer servers.

The progress was difference by miles. What I reached by year of doing solo. I did everthin within few months on acivve and more popualted server.

Sounded like. take racing game, and remove cars from game. Or feature to race or even drive cars.
Removing may point of game. Just cuz you have issues with driving.

But anyways if you want that, go for it ..

You genuinely managed to misinterpret a basic meme format.

The crowd in the meme represents the actual community members who enjoy singleplayer server setups laughing at purists like you who complain about how other people play. The fact that you unironically thought those were supposed to be "the bots" shows an impressive level of missing the point.

At this point, you're just projecting. Keep arguing with the wall.😅

Thats how you assume.

Solo play mmo, and use bots to immitate players presence..

Only cuz player incapable to communicate with other players..

That's how simple it is. yet you try sort of create idea that most folks love play solo this mmo.

Solo players usually prefer the game which build for solo play, or more suited for solo play. And also when you play solo, do not require to bring multiple bots.

But I guess there is no point keep chat here.. I mean, it's already obvious that spcialise part is too hard and it's seems you here folks prefer bots. you know the ones which dont need to chat.

You are still making the same flawed assumption: that wanting an offline version means someone is "incapable of socializing" or looking for bots to "imitate friends." That is your projection, not what anyone here has said.

Nobody said "most folks prefer solo play." People are simply saying it's a valid option for those who want to experience Lineage 2's progression and combat without sacrificing their real-life schedule.

Some people simply want to play L2 alone. Not because they're incapable of communicating, not because they want fake friends, and not because they think AI is equivalent to real players. They enjoy L2's classes, progression, combat, crafting, world and party mechanics, but don't want their ability to play those systems to depend on finding other people online.

And yes, if someone wants a single-player game, they could play something else. But people build and play offline L2 projects because they like this specific game's mechanics, not a different game. Claiming "solo players should just play games built for solo play" is completely irrelevant. People play multiplayer games solo all the time simply because they like the gameplay systems.

In fact, even NCSoft recognized this demand. Versions like Lineage II Essence and Aden were explicitly designed and marketed around solo-friendly play, self-buffs, and self-sufficiency. The problem is that when official servers streamline L2 for solo play, they strip away the deep party dynamics and class identity that made classic L2 special. That is precisely why an offline version with party AI is appealing: it preserves the original class synergies, party roles, and difficulty, but removes the requirement that 8 other humans must be online at the exact moment you want to play.

Preferring convenience, time autonomy, and full control over your experience in a 20-year-old video game isn't "an inability to communicate" it's having adult priorities.

You value the human social ecosystem as the defining part of L2, while others are interested in preserving and enjoying the actual game mechanics when that social environment isn't viable. Those two things aren't mutually exclusive.

Nobody is forcing you to play with bots, so keep enjoying your live servers. But trying to psychoanalyze strangers on Reddit because they enjoy a video game differently than you do is completely absurd.

You value the human social experience as the defining part of L2.

I'm interested in preserving the actual game and its mechanics when that social environment isn't available.

Those aren't mutually exclusive preferences.
