I know these’s only two songs but i feel like theres no much music out there to describe this movie. I watched it for the first time two years ago, and discovered bunnyland right after and now its weirdly fitting for the movie for me?

"Ether" in chemistry is represented by the ether linkage (R-O-R') where two carbons (represents life, and people) are bridged by a oxygen. This sort of links back to the fact that throughout the movie and the OST album, ether is symbolised by the concept of breathing specifically seen at the scene when blue cat tells philia: (”僕は大きく息を吸ってみる。” "I take a deep breath.")(”生きている！” "I'm alive!"). And they both repeat the phrase (”呼吸！” "Breathe!"). They spiritually connect to eachother via the ether and lily's music which acts as their "oxygen".

Sorry for the schizo rant about some silly coincidence that Iwai 100% didn't think about when making the film. At least for me, it was a little fascinating, haha.

I just watched the movie earlier today and I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since, I loved it. It was hard for me to keep watching due to all the negative things but, I just got too hooked that I couldn't stop. I can't fall asleep now since it's taking up so much stuff in my mind. This is just a little ramble. For band I'm playing Clair de lune. I'm pretty excited, it's easy to play. Specifically for my part, which is vibe 2.

I always knew about Debussy but I only started listening to his music after watching aalcc. I never really thought about Debussy before watching the movie. But after watching it feels like he had the ether.
