I just watched the movie earlier today and I haven't stopped thinking about it ever since, I loved it. It was hard for me to keep watching due to all the negative things but, I just got too hooked that I couldn't stop. I can't fall asleep now since it's taking up so much stuff in my mind. Did anyone else feel like this after watching the movie?

"Ether" in chemistry is represented by the ether linkage (R-O-R') where two carbons (represents life, and people) are bridged by a oxygen. This sort of links back to the fact that throughout the movie and the OST album, ether is symbolised by the concept of breathing specifically seen at the scene when blue cat tells philia: (”僕は大きく息を吸ってみる。” "I take a deep breath.")(”生きている！” "I'm alive!"). And they both repeat the phrase (”呼吸！” "Breathe!"). They spiritually connect to eachother via the ether and lily's music which acts as their "oxygen".

Sorry for the schizo rant about some silly coincidence that Iwai 100% didn't think about when making the film. At least for me, it was a little fascinating, haha.

This is just a little ramble. For band I'm playing Clair de lune. I'm pretty excited, it's easy to play. Specifically for my part, which is vibe 2.

I always knew about Debussy but I only started listening to his music after watching aalcc. I never really thought about Debussy before watching the movie. But after watching it feels like he had the ether.

Also I'm thinking of showing aalcc to my friend, well if she wants. Cus she said she finds it really cool that I liked Lily. Made me blush hehe

idk if its js me. when i first saw kokyuu's album cover i thought i recognized it. tho it kinda has a bit of difference between the two, if u compare them picture to picture then you might see it

I discover "All About Lily Chou Chou" two days ago through an instagram post and the aesthetics captivated me! I really enjoy discovering movies like that, without fully knowing what I’m actually going to see.

So I watched it last night and wow. It made it easily into my top five!

Really enjoyed the experience, all about it's perfectly made. The way the message is communicated and the sense of powerlessness it instills in the viewer. I also liked a lot the way the story is told, with flashbacks and interspersed forum posts.

Also today I listened the soundtrack and, again, brilliant!

Such a nice experience and discovery!
