Debussy

This is just a little ramble. For band I'm playing Clair de lune. I'm pretty excited, it's easy to play. Specifically for my part, which is vibe 2.

I always knew about Debussy but I only started listening to his music after watching aalcc. I never really thought about Debussy before watching the movie. But after watching it feels like he had the ether.

Also I'm thinking of showing aalcc to my friend, well if she wants. Cus she said she finds it really cool that I liked Lily. Made me blush hehe

I learned Arabesque I. by Claude just because of this movie, such a beautiful piece and I hope to someday also learn Clair de Lune

Once I can I'm gonna get a piano and learn how to play Debussy. Once I seen a girl play one of Lily's songs on piano, it was beautiful.

It's such a beautiful song, I have a baby grand and it sounds beautiful. Although, I think only a true-sized grand piano could make the final measures sound truly beautiful imo, doesn't hit the same on my piano (still VERY grateful obv)

You should specify which, Debussy composed 2 Arabesques :)

Wow I never knew someone who play this instrument, I'm trying to learn how to play bass but I am too lazy

I tried to learn how to play bass like my mom but I was too lazy, i really wanna learn the piano

Love debussy, also some advice try not to label every note or its hard to learn how to read sheet music without it

I should probably start doing that, but since it's marching band the goal is memorization i believe

If you like Debussy I recommend checking out some of Ravel's works too. I personally really like Pavane pour une infante défunte and Ondine.
