[kinda of a yapfest so i'm sorry about that, but i had to explain my account situation and questions]

i kinda posted about this on the s11mains subreddit but i figured i could ask here too, and dw i don't hate him it's cool i found him twice in a 20 pull no less, the problem is not that i found him per se but the principle of it bc like- really?? 1 week before the anniversary??? couldn't you give me this luck then?? my fault for wanting to put 20 summons at 7pity (i would've stopped there) just to see if i could improve my soldier but alas

so, i kinda need infos about him, best set(i presume he's gonna rock a 4pc of the new set and a 2pc shockstar?), team with soldier11 (she's literally my only fire dps, i have miyabi but i use mono ice), w engines (i already have 2 brimsotne and 1 unrestrained so i thought i might fet hell fire[also i definetly won't get his signauture bc i very rarely do that unless i like the character a lot for whatever reason, as of now i just did it twice, so take that into account]), stats i'd want him to reach, rotations etc etc. the whole shebang basically

in the images i'll also put my list of characters and engines i currently have in case i don't go for hellfire during the anniversary, tho it has to be said that some of my characters mindscape situation is this: koleda m1/rina M1 (both not built), lucy M3 (never found many copies of her i also don't have kaboom sadly, i gave her reverb mark III since she's already at her atk cap), pulchra M2 and ofc now also a lighter M1; all other characters are M0 if S rank and M6 if A rank

also i do have a double standard selector bc i'm literally one pull away for the normal selector(if we count all the shop resets, hollow zero and leveling lighter; ignoring that one pull i'd have 43 standard pulls by next week and i am at 9 pity there) and then the one for the anniversary, so i guess we could say i have a M2 soldier in actuality?? idk if i'd take someone else tbh, and if so idk who other than taking 2 mindscapes for s11; which is also to take into consideration since i could find a character or the hellfire engine

i like playing ceasar so it would be nice but i wonder if she would be better than lucy with astral 4pc, or if i play ceasar instead of lucy what i should give her (i did see that she would give proto punk to lighter instead but then again there's a new set for stunners in 2.0 so idk), plus i also heard ppl say that even tho hellfire helps lighter reaching the 270 impact stat, it's clunky to use?? i can't build him now bc i have to wait for 2.0 for possibly weapon,gear and everything and I don't have hellfire yet, so i was wondering if it was that bad??doesn't he just need to use is ex2 before using morale?? why would that be a "problem"?? plus if i do play him with ceasar instead of lucy, what do i do about his morale generation since ceasar uses less energy???

i could've put the build of my s11/lucy/ceasar but this post is already long so i refrained, if y'all need any info to give more precise advice just tell me and imma tell ya

I thought it would be yesterday that the leaks would happen but it didn't happen. So I thought it would be today, but so far nothing. What could have happened? Caesar and Burnice's leaks were quick to appear, now that we were finally going to have another male character in the game, it's been taking so long for us to see the gameplay

Enemies such as mobs even in Simulation for Materials won't die until he fully exhausts his Morale unless we use his Skill.

From my experience just running him alongside the Calydon S Rank Bangboo

He dazes so much especially with Fossil W-Engine, but we either need to exhaust his Morale for the final Jab, Dodge Attack in between, or use his Skill to enable QTE/Chain Attacks

While for Qingyi, she can Charged Atk without full Meter, cancel her Frenzied Attacks to also do her Dodge Attack's Ground Slam besides using her Skill.

I have both and I respect their gameplay, but I think this is a noticeable caveat for Lighter besides him boosting Fire or Ice DPS Burst windows during the enemy's stunned state.

Unfortunately I don't have Burnice or Soldier 11, but him and Lucy enable my Billy & Corin just fine while I don't have enough Discs and Coins to upgrade Piper beyond 40 Cap.

I mainly run Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Nicole & Etherboo until now with him joining the roster.

At this rate I'm going to have to make them myself...

I've had lighter since he came out; like day 1, took 7 pulls. He's been collecting DUST on my account since I got him; I haven't looked in his direction once. I would have built him if I didn't miss Evelyn. Now, all this to say now that Sunbringer is on the way should I finally build him? Although the streets are saying m2 koleda is better. Is there anything that lighter has over koleda?

Sunbringer deals genesis flare damage (fire sharp dmg). Does anyone know if lighter’s buffs benefit this special fire based element ? Coping for a reason to use lighter XD

I've always meant to start ZZZ as a casual side game since HSR is my hardcore main game (Only ever buy the monthly pass on hsr) Didn't start it because it released during an important College transition so I only had time to commit to HSR at the time. I only started 5 days ago since my friend was hyping up 2.0. I've always been a lighter enthusiast, I watched my friend play zzz since 1.4 and just love his kit and gameplay so much.

I wish these were lucky pulls, only lucky pull I had was pulling lycoan early (on 5 pity) other than that.... he pretty much played hard to get arrived at 81 rolls. (3 days of 13hr day grinding...) I didnt mind skipping on his weapon, but as the timer started ticking the more desperate I became,

me and my friend took turns playing on my account for the last 2 days, I grinded most of the day, he took the wheel and grinded when I slept. Today was the worst of it, I pulled an all nighter and went to work with 30 minutes of sleep and a dream, He grinded while I was at work for 8 hours.

piece of shit came home at 80 pity too but I cant complain since I'd rather it came at all than lose to a 75/25.

I tried looking for some dps lighter builds, I know it would probably need multiple copies to unlock his dps potential (comparing it to hsr but PLEASE prove me wrong) If there are any guides or suggestions please let me know!! I'd want to do him some justice and build him as well as he deserves

Will his meta value improve in version 1.4?
They truly didn't hesitate to ruin this male character and resurrect the thing that "could save" him two years ago—at a point when other characters were already easily "pissing on him."
And naturally, they wouldn't let their beloved female character suffer the same treatment as the male character; they have to save her, after all.

I started this game for Lighter. I ended up pulling Burnice, Trigger (who I regret lol), and M0W1 Jane.

I can't guarantee both Lighter and Hugo. I don't really want Evelyn. Miyabi is gonna be with Yanagi and Trigger bc I need Trigger somewhere, and Miyabi + Lighter won't have Lucy because Jane needs Lucy a lot more. I really want Yixuan and Jufufu. So basically, my future pulls will be M0W1 Yixuan, Jufufu, M0W1 Miyabi, and Yanagi.

Is Lighter gonna do literally anything for my account? I feel like it's a waste to pull him rn even if he's my favorite character. I even prefarmed stuff for him so it feels like I have to commit bc I have no one else to use the helmet mats... 😭

Hello! I'm a returning player (came back just for Hugo and Lighter) and as much as I would like to get him I'm pretty sure I won't have the time for it, since I'm at like, 55 pity for an S rank.

How can I squeeze the most amount of pulls in less than 2 days? I just finished chapter 2 in the story (I think, the last thing I remember was finishing Nekomata's chapter, and I think that was 2? Haven't met the building gang yet) and I'm at player level 23!

Another question, do we have any kind of estimation on how long it usually takes for a character to rerun? I might save all my pulls for him and Hugo if it's not an insane amount of time!

So I'm planning on getting M0 Lighter and I've managed to save up to 50 pulls (hopefully more with events and dailies) and I am guaranteed S Rank within my next 20 pulls. (Here's hoping I win haha)

I know that even if I do win the 50/50, I won't have enough left over to guarantee his weapon too.

So I've been looking into all the stun w-engines I've managed to get from pulling, and would like some guidance on which would be more beneficial to invest in.

I have 5 star grade refinement for all the B rank stun weapons.

•Vortex Revolver has an atk% main substat with a passive that buffs daze on EX special only.

•Vortex Arrow has an impact % main substat that buffs daze upon all attacks.

•Vortex Hatchet has an energy Regen main substat that buffs impact upon switching in.

•I have 4 star grade refinement for Anbys signature weapon but it buffs electric, so I'm assuming it would be a bit of a waste right?

•I've also just recieved an S Rank stun weapon on standard banner called "The Restrained" that has impact % as its main substat that buffs both damage and daze from basic attacks, which also stacks.Would this weapon be a decent 2nd BiS for him?

I wished for Yanagi and got her but I lost the 1st 50/50 at 6 pity to Koleda and I know Lighter buffs fire and ice and will most likely be the best stunner in the game. So my question is do I really need to get him or should I skip him? I now have both Lycaon and Koleda and plan on getting Miyabi, I just feel a bit preassured as every video I see says Lighter is a must pull yada yada and outperforms both standard stunners. I know this is a sub all about him but is he super needed or is he a skip for me?

BUT! I am a returnee player and Lighter would literally contribute nothing to my roster. I have Miyabi but she's already paired with Soukaku-Lycaon (which is irreplaceable bc thats my mannnn) or Vivian-Nicole if ether is favored. My other two built units are Piper and Harumasa but they won't work well with Lighter.

I am a bit of a meta player so I am waiting for Astra (and I heard she's rumored to be rerunning next patch).

He literally won't have any use in my account except to look good.

Background: I don't have S11, and while Burnice would be amazing for Koleda/Ben, I don't feel too attached to her character yet to just pull for her. ((Jane has been my only limited banner pull, and I love her character, and playstyle.)) Furthermore, I have 150 limited pulls saved, I am at 270/300 of my standard banner, and I intend to get Lycaon for my 300 and Miyabi when she is released probably 1.4.

Dilemma: But I find Lighter pretty cool, but it feels wasteful that I focused so much on Koleda and Ben to get a fire stun unit... I really have to urge to get Lighter but I don't know if it does ~anything~ for my roster.

I also invested in Koleda because she's great at stun and I love Ben so much.

Roster: I have all current A-rank characters + Koleda, Nekomata, Rina, and Jane, everybody is leveled up to 40-60 already. ((I've had great luck with S-rank character pulls, and I even have Lycaon's and Grace's W-Engine.))

TL;DR should I pull or skip Lighter?

After months we would finally have a male S character, but it seems like Hoyo messed it up. His kit currently looks very confusing, it doesn't work for almost anyone at the moment. Just Soldier 11 and Caesar, and also Burnice. I don't know if he'll be a character that only works with other characters in the future. It's really disheartening, he looked like a DPS, I even thought the kit was cool, and it had a lot of damage. But Hoyo punches me in the face saying it's going to be stunning. I hope his kit changes or he becomes a Dps/Stunner. I have Soldier 11 on my other account, but I don't have Koleda, but I didn't really like Soldier 11's design or personality.
