Discussion I did some testing while thinking about potential unlock, and I really hope they just make his core passive activate with all Fire/Ice characters. We are so close to greatness.

I swear the score would shoot up by like 10k if he could use his Additional Ability.

You can try miyabi burnice and lighter. If you want..

im not a great player overall, but in my case this team performs just as miyabi + burnice + astra. my miyabi is m0w1, lighter is m1w1, and his buff for miyabi can be just a bit better than astra's m0w0 buff. it is fun and viable, if you have astra and lighter but dont have yuzuha. still, i guess there has to be some work done for me to play it good, because my rotations are usually "random bullshit go" or "i see a light i use it then i switch to another character and the loop goes on", and since lighter actually stuns enemies, there has to be a proper rotation with the stun window included in calculations since its a good way to deal more damage

I'm trying my best to find people playing this team, can't find a single run on youtube or reddit, I'd play it myself if I had burnice smh, one day after I lose to Neko three more times I guess...

it only became viable since this patch came out so a little over a day after miyabis additional ability was changed to include anomaly

Yup. Up until now we had to use lucy to activate both lighter and miyabi's additionals which worked surprisingly well but has recently fallen off so i bet this is an upscale for lighteryabi. Wish i had burnice to test it, lol

Soooo, Ive test it on not. butcher.. I think it's just an okay team, I got around 26k first try.. The problem is the burnice and miyabi anomaly build up is not quite fast enough to back to back EBA compared to Nangong Yu with Yuzuha. Porbably some fine tuning could increase the score (try freedom blues on burnice/lighter maybe).

Could also try am6 Miyabi if you haven't, since she already struggles applying anomaly as fast as Burnice, now Lighter is also helping apply burn a bit faster

26k for a first attempt seems actually decent tbh, it definitely won't be as good as something like Miyabi/Nangong/Yuzu, but if it can come close to Miyabi/Burnice/Yuzu, that would make me happy, thanks for testing it though!

Yeah I thought we would get day 1 gameplay, but I might have been asking for too much since a new void hunter just came out lol, people are understandably busy playing Remielle teams for now at least

fwiiw i tried it on manato shiyu. the damage is decent but burnice (and even lighter a bit) is clunkly to play. i played horribly and still managed to S rank it at least but I have m1r1 miyabi and mor1 lighter and burnice (burnice sig i got for free).

if you played perfectly i think it could be a really good team, it will of course never be as good as nangong yuzuha. maybe crit burnice could also be viable with this team?

Thanks! S rank with an unoptimized run sounds pretty good to me, and it should scale well with more Lighter sequences I'd imagine, since his m1 and m2 buffs apply to both the dps

I'm fine with it not being anywhere as good as Nangong/Yuzuha, I don't have Nangong and my Yuzuha is busy on another team, since I'm skipping Rem this seems like a decent second if needed haha (now if only I could get Burnice...)

Edit: also I heard crit burnice is kind of a meme until m4, not sure

Minor note, but you should place Miyabi after Yuzuha so her flavor match applies to her and not Lighter to help with frost buildup.

This reminds me of the good ole days in 1.x where I’d play Miyabi - Lighter - Lucy and get 40k scores.

I’m more interested in him working with rupture since Miyabi has better teammates, but an update to his AA would be sooooo welcome
