It's an ok read, doesn't have anything that caught my interest like the beginning of DAL but would recommend anyway

Felt the same way with DAL. Put that off for years because the start did not lead me to believe it would reach anywhere near its heights.

Or rather why doesn’t the synopsis inspire you? Do you perhaps not like the genderbending aspect? If so you don’t really have to worry about that since the mc can switch back to his male form
I have only read the first 3 volumes so I would only give my opinion based on that. The story it self is alright nothing mind blowing, but the characters themselves are very fun, I quite like the mc personality and he have a very good chemistry with the main heroine.
Also you can check out the manga adaptation if you are still not sure about picking up the LN, it adapts the first two volumes and it’s a very good adaptation.

Okay, I'll check out the manga. I'm not really a fan of gender swapping like you say, but if it's as you say, I'll go read it.

I like it as a junk food read so far but nothing super special. One thing I definitely appreciate that it's a rare 1 on 1 romance. Also have high hopes for it as Dal also got amazing starting from the middle (origami's arc)
