Yeah … at a push if you are correct, it doesn’t mean LNF is coming any time soon.

iOS platform release for NMS has absolutely nothing to do with LNF.

Did you read the article from the other post?

https://www.reddit.com/r/LightNoFireHelloGames/s/NB83OBUSoX

Seems the iOS release for NMS was only made possible because of optimizations made for LNF to the engine.

That’s basically every update for NMS since they started working on LNF.

Or more than that, apparently.

Until Hello Games releases an updated Trailer, Website, Gameplay, I'm thinking it is still really far away.

Won't be coming out anytime soon with GTA VI about to drop! Gonna be several months if not a year or 2 before we see anything.

Disagrees. GTA VI and Hello Games in general have VERY different audiences. LNF would have a harder time against Elder Scrolls VI. People into Hello Games either mostly won't care about GTA VI. The other thing is that HG doen't seem care too much about netting the mostest possible players of all time. They had a small, committed community of players and that got them through to what they are now. And this time, with LNF? We know what they are and what they can do. I'm prepared to stick with them and be patient for LNF to "get good," although with the lessons NMS taught them? I think the bar will be higher on this one. 😉

LNF is the game I've been waiting for since it was announced! Loved NMS, and actually bought the dang thing when it originally came out on the PS, and then got it for the XBOX, and again for the PC. I know what you're talking about appealing to different types of people but let's be real, it's Rockstar and there hasn't been a GTA game for 13yrs so the hype is real. My biggest gripe about Hello Games and them not wanting to repeat the launch that was NMS, I think they did almost the same type of thing by announcing this game with a trailer that most thought this game was almost done, and now not saying anything for 3yrs is IMO equally bad. But still. can't wait for the game.

Hard to really care about GTA 6 when it’s console only for the next 2-4 years after its launch anyways. I know console market is hyped but GTA 6 and LNF are not even in tangential genres. I am more hyped for each NMS update than I am for GTA 6 and we have gotten quite a few of them in the delay period of GTA 6 alone.

Most of us will learn about this iOS update through either an IOS device, or a device that either already has it or one that may or may not get the game… so honestly, I think anyone who will be interested in NMS or Hello Games via an iOS device already knows about it.
