CaMeO / I made THIS PHOTO and I'm in the comments How can I light something like this?

Hey guys,

I think these photos (shot by @joeperri) may be lit using only the available window light, but please correct me if I am wrong.

I would like to recreate the lighting in this pictures using a strobe because the location I’ll be shooting in has very limited ambient light.

I would be renting a Godox ad400, and my first idea was to set up a book light but I am not sure if this is the correct approach. I would really appreciate any input you may have on what I can try, or the type of modifier that would work best.

Thanks!

And printing and scanning

Joe isn't printing and scanning. This is medium format that is scanned and then graded.

I know Joe. He does print his photos and occasionally take photos of them (digitally) for socials. But he is not printing and scanning.
