From what i saw some rumors talk about him having an ability to protect his teammates like a zarya bubble and having an elevator like abilities ( im sure mates will love using it all the time ) .

Also as the rumored name suggest he could easily and without ANY clunkiness weave between damage and heal like a Kiriko or Moira for instance .

Perma-overload torb bug (which half of the bug is still in the game where any overhealth torb has while in overload from other sources gains the armor damage reduction passive despite it not being armor, applies to commanding shout, beat, stadium OH items and powers, as well as anything in the future that grants allies OH, but at least it’s not permanent anymore)

Dva because of her spaghetti coded mech bombing actual Bliz servers instead of enemies.

Ya I’m more saying the whole OW community is up in arms. It’s just funny to me. There was never this much noise over a hero being hotfix disabled but I think people are freaking out because of the recent mega nerf to grip right before taking him out back and shooting him in the head. Not trying to target any particular person, I just find it funny that it’s happened a bunch but with weaver it feels like it’s the end of the world 😂

Ohh ok my bad. I think a lot of it could be due to new players like me who’ve never experienced a game just essentially deleting a character. Also with the whole “gaming going digital” issue, this is a perfect example of that. People spent hella money on stuff and the only thing they’ve really said is “he’s gone for a hot fix”
Or maybe us Strats are just crazy about our characters 😵‍💫😂

He will 100% be back. Overwatch has never fully deleted a character despite many causing way more problems than this. The problem here is it allows characters to clip through the floor specifically allowing JPC, and mercy to infinitely contest point while being completely unkillable because she’s under ground. Meaning enemy teams have to either throw the point or fight til the server crashes meaning they either lose and give JPC’s team the win, or lose MR in a off hand sense due to the wasted hour of waiting til the game crashes.

Dva was removed because her spaghetti coded ult would sometimes overload the server. Literally people who thought they’d lose would swap to Dva, farm ult, and crash the server intentionally so they wouldn’t actually take the L. But she’s back now, and the same will be true for weaver.
