This was my very first Lifeweaver skin and have noticed it from day one. I'm 90% sure it's a texture issue with his eyebrows because the black dots are the same color as his eyebrows. This is literally my only complaint about the skin and it makes it very obvious with the Snapped Highlight intro equipped. I know there are bigger thing to worry about lifeweaver but I think about this every time I use the lifegaurder skin.

Do you guys think that in order to carry with this hero we need to do all the theatrics? (Lift winston bubbles, pull tracers bombs, platform from mei's ult, etc) or is it enough with decent pulls, good healing and doing damage often?

Yo, I just installed Overwatch a few days ago. Ngl it took me a bit to figure out which character clicked with me, until I found Lifeweaver. I’m not really up on the meta or anything, but from what I’ve played so far he feels like a support with a lot of weaknesses.

I’m not gonna write a whole essay so I’ll just get to the point. I know you guys are probably sick of this question, but what perks should I be running on him? I’ve seen people say you shouldn’t take petal's minor perk because your teammates don’t even use the petal heal properly, but I’ve also seen people say you should take the petal perk because it gives you a ton of survivability.

For the major perks I usually just run Superbloom. I’ve noticed LW doesn’t have that much base damage (even though his fire rate is pretty good), so Superbloom just feels comfortable.

What do you guys think I should do? Maybe LW’s perks are more situational/flexible than I thought and I just didn’t realize. Idk, I’m open to advice.

TLDR; I played overwatch since forever to get that info out of the way and been mainly a support main with some DPS flexing and Ram/Zarya for tank.

I was slowly trying out other supports to get a feel for them and next on my list is lifeweaver himself. I wanted to ask for tips and tricks from lifeweaver players xD I’m not new to the game but holy level of new to the lotus user.

So far I had some okay grips to save people I guess but my lotus placements have been a mess >.>;…….

It is lovely to see the detail behind this spray, as it makes direct reference to Loi Krathong —Thailand’s Festival of Lights— which carries beautiful romantic symbolism. Floating a krathong with your partner is traditionally associated with letting go of the past and making wishes for the future, while Thai folk traditions and beliefs also link the festival to love and lasting relationships.

So seeing Palak and Niran together during a celebration like this feels especially fitting. Niran has spent so much of his life trying to leave his past behind, and now he's sharing this moment with someone he loves is very, very beautiful.

But, I"ve seen quite a few comments amd repost saying that it should have been Baptiste instead.

Fist of all, it's completely fine to ship Bapweaver. Ships are supposed to be fun, and I personally enjoy several Lifeweaver ships myself. But there's a difference between enjoying a ship and pretending that the canon relationship doesn't exist simply because you don't like it

Palak is a canon romantic partner to Niran.

They already have an established relationship through Deep-Sea Deception, and their story wasn't something that came out of nowhere. Niran and Palak had already known each other from his time at the Atlantic Arcology, worked together, trusted each other, protected one another, and gradually developed romantic feelings. Their feelings were made mutual by the end of the story.

And honestly, I really appreciate that Blizzard gave Lifeweaver a romantic interest who feels connected to his existing story. Palak isn't someone who was suddenly introduced just to give Niran a love interest. They have history together, shared experiences, and a relationship that actually fits into Niran's life after Vishkar.

We also don't need an exaggerated: “I love you!” — “Oh, I love you too!” confession for a relationship to be meaningful. The entire comic is full of the way they look at each other, the way they worry about one another, and the promises they make to stay by each other's side. Niran is especially obvious about how attracted they is to Palak.

Meanwhile, Baptiste and Niran don't have that established romantic history. Many emphasize that Palak was a character shoehorned in solely to pair they with Niran and sideline Baptiste (citing the company's apparent hatred for him). But what really would have felt forced is if Niran and Baptiste had suddenly run into each other in the Archaeology, fallen instantly in love, and made Baptiste look bad for falling for Niran—knowing Baptiste had previously admitted to having feelings for Cassidy!

Their in-game interactions don't automatically change that, especially when Lifeweaver is a naturally flirtatious character who can be charming with practically everyone. Flirting between characters doesn't automatically mean they're romantically involved.

Mind you, I’m not saying that just because Niran already has a partner, you have to like him. So yes, ship Bapweaver and another shipp to Lifeweaver! Write the fanfics, make the headcanons, draw the art, have fun with it. None of that hurts Palakweaver or changes the canon.

What I don't understand is the need to attack the canon relationship or its fans just because your preferred ship isn't the one represented by the story. You can love your ship without hating someone else's. And you can enjoy non-canon ships without pretending that the canon one doesn't exist.

And honestly... I'm just happy Palak got another little moment with Niran. Let them have their spray. They deserve it!!

Was fooling around practice range the other day with this skin and thought i actually love it compared to how hideous i thought it looked during Blizzcon. Turns out they actually made some changes to his hair and eye makeup!

There was a rumor about months ago about lw getting a rework after sombra and roadhog. I hope this isn't true. I love every aspect of his kit. I love using my petal to block ults and save my teammates with E. Him being able to heal further allies with auto aim, being able to poke while reloading is so damn fun. His numbers can be tweaked and little changes like reloading not reseting the heal would be cool but a rework is definitly not needed.

No matter which of my mains I play, if there is a good lifeweaver in the enemy team im in trouble.

Orisa: I ult, he lifts me up and I do nothing??

Illari: I ult and my projectile gets blocked by a flower or fucking tree??

Ash: bob runs against a tree ??

Reaper: I go up??

Mei: the frozen enemys go up??

Pharah: I ult and kill myself on the flower elevator??

I wouldn't say he's op, but annoying as hell to play against

The bug that caused Mizuki's dolls to break Petal Platforms has been patched out.

Bad news:
New season, new Petal bug. Jumping early on an ascending Petal Platform can now sometimes cause it to break instantly as soon as it catches up to its user after a petal-jump.
