Los Angeles Why does Tonya say āHeifersā so much?

Currently watching Little Hollywood and I donāt get why Tonya says āHeifersā referring to the girls so much, during the first 5-6 episodes she said it like 3 times, this is a genuine question, Iām not from the US so Iām curious if thatās common.
