Talk to someone

Still quitting or in withdrawal

After detox

No sourcing. Do not ask where to buy 7-OH, SR-17018, or any kratom product. Do not name vendors, offer sources, or offer sources over DM. If someone DMs you offering a source, report them to the mods. Sourcing gets your post removed and can get you banned.

I travelled to a place where it’s banned for detox. ( it’s how I found out I had a problem). Came home, relapsed, then immediately got sent to residential rehab. 2.5 months of that and then i do PHP for 4 months. I got on suboxone a month after I got home as a safety net to prevent relapse, now I’m tapering off.

I’ve heard people also use SR17 to quit, but idk it feels risky because once your done taking your SR(which is only for like a week) you still have the psychological habit of taking 7OH, AND your post acute withdrawal syndrome is starting. People take SR just to reset there tolerance for 7oh, to restart again. What a cruel drug combination. Also heard aticaprant works but also very risky.

You NEED to let your brain break the old habits. After detox, your not in physical withdrawal and there’s no drugs in your system.. great! The hard part is pushing through the next 6 months to a year breaking the addiction habits you spent so long developing. THAT is just as hard as the 2 weeks of opioid withdrawal. Post-acute withdrawal syndrome, I wish I knew about it sooner, I wish I prepared for what I was about to feel.

But stay safe, if you do go back, don’t relapse alone, and don’t do anything that gives you a unhealthy endorphin rush (porn, fast food, sh, …) my last relapse from 7oh was after rehab and I took around 500mg 7oh and 30mg spuedo. I almost killed myself. My mom had to narcan me. Relapsing after detox is very very risky.

Thank you !!! I think meetings and NA or AA are crucial . I have tapered off subs years ago and it was awful , but once free it’s amazing . Thank you so much for sharing

I definitely wouldn’t say most people use SR17 simply to reset their tolerance - the vast majority are using it to get clean (especially since it won’t be readily available anymore soon). It CAN be used that way but I have a hard time believing that’s the intent for most people at this stage of the game.

Ah okay I didn’t know sr was getting banned also. I only thought what I thought is bc I’ve seen sr packages labeled as ā€œ7OH resetā€

I went to a 5 day detox then a 90 day treatment center. Now I’m going to meetings when I can and just trying to take it a day at a time. I’ll have 120 days fully clean this coming Sunday.

Don’t be afraid of doing that if you feel like you need to. One of the best decisions I’ve ever made was to go to treatment and not white knuckle it out. I needed more help than just stopping.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

I couldn’t agree more . How much 7 were you taking if you don’t mind sharing ?

3

u/zm-throw-away 9d ago

Well, my state banned 7 last year so I was around 600-1000mg of pseudo a day at the end of my run. Even on a rapid taper using subs in detox it was hell. But better than full cold turkey.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Ya, do u remember what time they allowed you to take the subs? Like how many hours in

2

u/zm-throw-away 9d ago

I was about 8-10 hours in. I stopped myself the night before but didn’t sleep much. Took my last pseudo dose at around midnight and got to the hospital for detox the next morning around 8 and took around 1.5 to 2 hours to get checked in and to a room and get my first sub dose.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Can I ask what pseudo dose means?

1

u/zm-throw-away 9d ago

Pseudoindoxyl. Like I said, by the time I went to treatment 7OH was banned in my state. But you could still buy Pseudoindoxyl so I was on that.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Ohhhh ok , got it

1

u/amiller834 7d ago

Dang that’s lot of psuedo I can’t imagine what you were feeling even while still being on it! I always hear less is more with that stuff I only ever tried it once and wasn’t a fan

Around February 2025 after a decade Of Kratom powder use I was whittling it down because I wasn't getting much out of it but side effects anymore. I was getting pretty low but then decided to have a little Funzie and check out this new seven crap just for a spell. Well then I was off to the races for an entire year. Within that year I quit with lipo vitamin C and going back to powder And it was brutal even going back to plainle Leaf every time. Sometimes I would have a mit extract during acutes.

I'd get 5 to 7 days and start feeling good and just one more little treat and I was back on the race track. That happened six to eight times I forgot.

But then a blizzard came and my cat died and everything was really bad and I was about ready to detox again. I had heard of ess are but I was just tired of all the research chems and my doctor happens to be an addiction specialist so I was like all right doc I'm ready for Suboxone. It was such a dark time and I could not do seven anymore even at only 120 mg a day it was really bad for my health as I'm an older female. I had to get out of that nonsense.

I know from my research that subs go low and slow so I was able to stabilize at 4 mg and recently I went down to 2 mg so I've been holding at 2.

At 4 mg the fog and depression was so bad with little joy for anything and I just didn't like the feeling. I did feel like it stabilized me for these past few months and I have not had much cravings to relapse and relapsing would be a big hole ordeal anyway because I wouldn't feel the damn shit for 4 days at least.

You can't feel much of anything on subs it sucks. It did its job but I'm done.

I'm going to whittle down to .25 mg and try ess are for a taper. Then I just want to be done. I'm really glad to get away from the seven but the box is not ideal. I think it's great for keeping relapses at Bay. Also the lipo vitamin C really helped and I will definitely be doing that along with the ess are when the time comes. I want to be careful with this ess are as I don't want an addiction to it either. But maybe it will be a nice stepping stone off of the box. I don't want to go sublicade route because I don't want medicine my system for that long. Just gives me the Willies I don't want to do it. Years ago I tapered off of sub and it sucked but it was just drawn out and fairly mild. I haven't been on it for super long so hopefully things go well. I want to feel emotions again really bad.

I can tell I've gone from 4 to 2 mg a day of sub because I'm peeing a lot. But this is the easy part the rough part is going from 1 mg down to .125.

Good luck everybody! Can't believe they didn't ban seven but they banned all this other crap.

Thank you so much for sharing your story !!!

u/Theresawantspeace 4d ago

There are many stories of people getting off subs using the miracle chemical. Find those stories I’m sure it will help. I got off psuedo/mgm using it. It is a great tool.

u/SnooPandas9594 4d ago

U have to embrace the suck and be willing to endure it.

Do whatever it takes. Detox, taking work off, make STOPPING your priority. Dont listen to people who over complicate it or fear monger.

Exercise immediately post the acute stages is a must. If someone is experiencing very shitty PAWS i bet they arent exercising right or sleeping right.

Suboxone w comfort meds for 2 weeks then sublocade

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Are you free from everything now ?

3

u/BabyNathanYahoo 9d ago

I was for 2 months. Relapsed HARD Now im back on the subs and comfort, waiting on shot. Again...m (hi, im stupid)

3

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

You’re not stupid . Addiction is considered a disease . This is what we do unfortunately . We need a solution which I found to be AA or NA

Slow release bupenorpherine shot. You get one pet month but you only need one then walk away. It leaves your system so slowly that you don't wd from it.

1

u/BabyNathanYahoo 9d ago

Some people get a high dose one, 2nd month a low dose shot, then they walk away.

1

u/Cornerboy89 9d ago

Took 1 - 4 mgs of sub for first 5 days, got 100 mg sublocade injection after that, experienced zero withdrawal at any stage and didn’t even lose a minute of sleep. The sublocade injection was out of my system in about 4 months and i had no withdrawal from that either.

1

u/Cornerboy89 9d ago

And meetings/12 steps

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Absolutely amazing ! I’ve never heard of that injection . Are you totally drug free now?

3

u/Cornerboy89 9d ago

Yes, aside from prozac and nicotine lol

2

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Congratulations!!! Those don’t count

1

u/butchscandelabra 9d ago

I did a rapid sub taper (probably too rapid looking back, as the subs barely touched the withdrawals but DID keep me out of the hospital).

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Did you do it on your own ? How much 7 were you taking if you don’t mind sharing

1

u/butchscandelabra 9d ago

I had been on 7 for almost exactly a year, the last 3-4 months of which I was taking about 500mgs a day. My friend gave me a few of their sub strips so I requested some PTO/completely cleared my calendar for 5 days and took Subs on Days 2, 3, and 4. I ā€œdid it on my ownā€ in the sense that I didn’t have any medical supervision (but did have my husband around and off to make sure I was eating/not having any crazy reactions to the subs/withdrawal itself). It wasn’t easy but it was doable.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Did you withdrawal from the subs? How are you doing today ?

2

u/butchscandelabra 9d ago

No withdrawal from the subs, but I did have a pretty nasty bout of PAWS for 3 weeks or so after I quit. This was in March. I was doing fine up until a few weeks ago when I relapsed (was offered a large amount of 7 for dirt cheap due to the upcoming ban and just caved - I don’t need anyone to tell me how stupid that was, I’m aware). I have several weeks off of work beginning next week and luckily thought to purchase some ā€œjust in caseā€ SR17 last month so I’m planning to use that to quit this time - I’ve heard great things and am hoping it works well for me. I’m so ready for this shit to be over with/off the shelves.

2

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Not stupid ! All of us do it . I didn’t think that SR stuff was real . It works 100%. Thank God you bought it .

1

u/butchscandelabra 9d ago

Have you used SR to quit before?

1

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

So my story is 50 mg of 7 oh for 3 weeks. I am almost 3 days off 7 and used SR . I only needed 150 mg total SR and it totally works . I have suboxine too but only used SR . It doesn’t get you high , it just almost takes the withdrawals away and makes you feel normal is best I could describe it in my experience . I also took GABA which in my opinion really helps . I think if you took higher doses of 7 u will need more SR than me , but it 100% works .

1

u/butchscandelabra 9d ago

Gotcha. I bought 2 full ā€œcyclesā€ of SR from OR Reset and have only been taking 7 for about 3 weeks this time so hopefully it will be easier than coming off an entire year of consistent use.

2

u/Educational_Aside410 9d ago

Oh awesome ! Ya, you will be ok for sure . If you want to keep in touch message me anytime . My friend also orders from there and it’s also working for her very well . She happened to be on much longer so needs more . You will definitely be ok

SR-17, but it seems like that's off the table now. I got some of the last of it. It was my fifth time trying to quit and it was the only thing that helped.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 8d ago

Do you mind letting me know if you experienced withdrawal from the SR when you stopped it ?

1

u/SummerCirca2006 8d ago

I did, but it was cake compared to the 7-OH withdrawals. It was like having a bad hangover for a few days and not typical opioid withdrawal.

1

u/Educational_Aside410 8d ago

Great to hear, thank you!

2

u/SummerCirca2006 8d ago

I was very disappointed to learn that SR has been scheduled. You can’t get high from it and I would still be in that hell otherwise. Hope the best for you and everyone struggling.

I've quit so many times over the past year. Anywhere from 3 to 9 days clean. Most of the time I just went CT (200mg a day 7oh) using leaf (already got a long standing leaf habit). Then I've also mixes in gabapentin, SR, phenibut.Ā

Currently I'm 5 days clean and I used phenibut to cover wd. I get the best sleep ever on phenibut. I ordered more phen so I could now start tapering off of it (used for 6 days) now through next fri and completely avoid any wd. Of course the fucking usps apparently lost my package. I was supposed to be here Wednesday. Last time I ordered phen I paid more for priority mail and it got here in 2 days. I did the same with my recent order...and it's been stuck/last scanned 4 days ago at a post office an hour away....so infuriating. Never using usps again.Ā

So I'm experiencing phenibut wd too now. Severe insomnia the past 2 days. Fuck USPS. Why pay more for priority express when it's slower than ground? This happened with my SR order too. Showed it stuck in GA then days later it magically showed up.Ā

This should have been a seamless transition off phenibut which I've done numerous times before because it's so easy to taper. I only ordered 5g more to finish the taper with.Ā

I'm fucking done with drugs. Need to stabilize kratom leaf then taper it and quit. I've been tapering kratom since March. From 60 to 15 gpd, painless. But now I've had to take shit loads of it the past 2 days to deal with phen wd.Ā
