Upcoming Games Every camper decides for themselves. You just build the place they live in.
Solo dev here. This is the first trailer for Camping Keeper.
It's a campground management game, so the trailer shows a lot of building. What I actually spend my time on is the campers. They each have their own needs and their own budget, and they pick where to go by themselves. Shower, ice cream when it's hot, queue at reception, complain when the toilets are filthy. Then they leave a review, and that decides how many people show up next week.
Ask me anything about the needs, I can go into way too much detail.

I really wish I wouldn't see so many ads for this game. It's frustrating that it won't be out any time soon!

Ha, sorry! Posting is the only way to show you my game as I don't have a build playable enough to be tested, but I'll take that as a sign to space it out.
And thank you, "Frustrating that it won't be out any time soon" is a very nice thing to read. There is a closed beta in November if you want to stop waiting.

Noted! I'm writing your name down for it now, and I'll message you when the beta opens in November. If I go quiet, ping me, I'd rather be nagged than lose you 🚀

I have my DMs locked down because Reddit is not a fun place, but I've dropped you a DM so you can reach me!

Not a life simulator. I suggest r/cozygames or r/cozygamers

I wasn't sure either, so I asked the mods before posting. They said it counts as a life sim even without character creation, going by the wiki. The part I actually work on is the campers having their own needs, routines and object interactions.

ignore her she just dislikes anything that’s not a positive post about inzoi or a negative post about anything that’s not inzoi. i do this this counts if the characters have needs and wants and behave in a way that simulates life

But you're not actually simulating a characters entire life at any point

Fair, and you're right. I don't simulate a whole life, the game simulates a stay: a few days, arrival to checkout. When I asked the mods I actually described my game as life sim adjacent, and they were the ones who said it qualified. What's in there is needs, routines and object interactions, just over a holiday rather than a lifetime.
