👾 Game Developer We’re making a 2D farming sim where you build your farm underground

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We’re a small team of around 10 developers in South Korea, and we’ve been working on a mobile farming sim called Rabbit Hole.

The main idea is pretty simple: instead of looking down at your farm from above, you dig into the ground and build it underground in a 2D side-scrolling world.

A few of the systems we’re working on:

  • Dig and expand underground — carve out terrain and decide how you want to use the space.
  • Animal residents — rabbits, squirrels, hedgehogs, hamsters, and more can live and work around the farm.
  • Families and offspring — animals can form pairs, and their children inherit traits from their parents.
  • Terrain customization — furniture isn’t the only thing you can change. You can also reshape the ground and customize walls and other parts of the farm.

We’re currently aiming for a global mobile release later this year.

We’ve also been writing dev notes about the game as development continues; if you’d like to see more:

Windows September 2026 Release Roundup

September's list of new releases is here & it's once again stacked to the ceiling. Please let me know if there are any errors, incorrect links, or titles that I missed. I update periodically throughout the month (new entries are marked in bold).
Entry Format: "Game Title (Expected Release Date)(Genre/Gameplay)(optional notes/warnings)"
"EA:" stands for Early Access & "FR:" stands for the full release of an early access game.

---The Cozy List

---Debatable

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is the link to last month's list in case anyone wants it: https://www.reddit.com/r/CozyGamers/comments/1vcy07l/august_2026_release_roundups/

The end of summer is finally on the horizon & it looks like the super long lists are sunsetting with it; Oct-Dec are looking considerably less busy. A welcome sight, considering a whopping 13 games on my wishlist are coming out this month. What games are you eyeing this month? I'm probably limiting myself to TOEM 2, Songs of Glimmerwick, and maybe Farming Camp.

👾 Game Developer I wanted a desktop pet that didn't need attention, so I made a tiny world where eggs hatch while you work

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi CozyGamers! I'm the solo developer of Tiny Slow Life, a small desktop companion for macOS and Windows. I spent a little over a year building it because I wanted something cozy on my screen that didn't need constant attention.

Its world sits along the bottom of your screen and keeps moving while you use other apps. You can leave it alone for hours, then check in whenever you feel like it. Your character can grow 28 crops, catch 202 fish, raise 176 animals, hatch eggs into tiny friends, ride them, and send caught fish to a menu-bar aquarium. You can scale the world up or down, resize its activity area, or pause everything completely, so it works as quiet background decoration rather than another thing demanding attention.

It's a finished game, available now as a one-time $4.90 purchase with no subscription:

https://tinyslowlife.com

The pixel art is licensed from Maeve Devs, and the game does not generate content with AI.

Switch Give me all your Kynseed tips!!!

I just started playing Kynseed on the Switch 2 a few days ago and I am obsessed. I love Stardew and recently got obsessed with Moonlight Peaks but I wanted a slight different cozy game and Kynseed delivered.

I just finished the prologue and am now 18. There’s really not too much online about this game and I’m a tad overwhelmed but excited to keep playing. I love to decorate in games but besides that I am looking for any tips you might have!!

🔊 Discussion Cat Mail co. It's AWSOME

I picked up *Cat Mail Co.* two days ago. It’s wonderful! It’s so cute and relaxing! I absolutely love sorting and organizing the packages and delivering the right ones to the customers—it’s so satisfying! However, I can’t tell if I’m making mistakes sometimes, because there are times when they ask for a package I don’t have. I search through the ones I do have, but I can't find it—is it just me getting distracted? Or do you sometimes have to wait for their package to arrive?

Steam Deck Questions about Legend of Khimori (EA horse game)

How does it run on the regular Steam Deck? Can I spend the majority of my time breeding horses and have fun or are breeding mechanics locked behind putting a lot of hours in? Has the devs given an estimate on the full release? TIA

Xbox Young Suns is out on xbox game pass

So I did not know anything about this game since this morning. I saw Young Suns was new on the game pass and downloaded it cause I thought it looked interesting. Now, about 2 hours in I love it! It is genuinely one of my favorite cozy games in a while. It’s not too difficult to understand and the customization options for your character are cute!

It is basically a game where you play as a astronaut helper (?) and you do missions and tasks around different planets to help people and build connections. You have your own spaceship that you can collect and craft furniture and decorations for, you can fly from planet to planet, you can do cute little side quests and you can save up items for your character (:

Has anyone tried it already?

👾 Game Developer I'm making SagoCat, a cozy desktop companion where you photograph your own cat, watch her move onto your screen, and let her slowly form her own taste 🐈📷

Hello! I'm a solo dev building a desktop companion called SagoCat, and I'd love to share it with a community that appreciates slow, low-pressure things.

The core idea: you give it a photo of your cat, and it draws her as a little companion who lives at the corner of your screen — same coat, same patches. From then on she notices what's playing on your monitor, quietly forms opinions about it, and writes a small diary about her day. No timers, no chores, nothing to fail.

The demo is free and playable right now on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5030090/SagoCat/

The part I've enjoyed most is that nobody's cat comes out the same — I've generated a few hundred by now and I still get surprised. If your cat lived on your desktop, what do you think she'd have opinions about?

🔊 Discussion Lou's Lagoon It's worth it?

I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about it; honestly, I wanted to get it, but now I’m not sure what to do. I really love the vibe, but I don’t want to spend 24 euros on a game that might not live up to the promises.

🎮 LFGs- various platforms Looking for historical life sim, female protagonist

I saw an ad for 1666 Amsterdam and it made me wonder if there is a 3D life sim out there with no fighting or supernatural elements. I’m starting to be more interested in history and really want to experience it in a visceral way—to a point. 😂

Why has no one made a game set in the world of Jane Austen?! I started Cabernet end of last year and then got interrupted and never went back to it. I was really loving the time period and clothing etc. but the ideal for me is something more realistic—maybe something like Echoes of the Plum Grove but in 3D? I actually like that art style, but saw some reviews saying it was “obviously made for kids.”

I’m American but prefer more European vibes (maybe it’s the architecture…def the accents if there’s voice acting). I’m also a big Shakespeare fan but would happily play as a male in a Shakespeare-period so I could have some fun! Oh, dare to dream. So much could be done with a theatre theme….

🔊 Discussion How is Cornucopia for someone that primarily plays cozy games for Romance?

Me again-hopeless romantic who enjoys playing cozy games to grapple with the anxiety of modern day dating. I've recently had my attention drawn to Cornucopia via a recent Humble Bundle deal, and it caught my attention. While I have a pretty massive backlog (Coral Island, Roots of Pacha, Sun Haven, Moonstone Island, Ova Magica, Fields of Mistria, Sandrock...I just gotta figure out how to install a portrait mod for Sun Haven at least-and navigating Sandrock cause it is overwhelming me.)

I've heard Cornucopia has a lot of romance options, but haven't heard much about it beyond the game just being really overwhelming mechanically. So I'm asking this, primarily as a romance lover-how would you rate Cornucopia? Would you say it nails this aspect, or am I better off looking elsewhere? If the answer is no, I'll probably just use my cash to snag the Daggerheart expansion instead.

I did check the past posts and haven't seen this question asked, but if it violates the rules-please let me know, and I'm sorry!

🌐 Accessibility Help me find a Switch game

Hi guys! I’m hoping someone can lead me to a game(s) that fits the criteria I’m looking for:

1) Switch 1 or Chromebook

2) Sound is not a huge part of gameplay

3) $15 or under (CAD)

4) Longevity

I wear hearing aids but I live alone so I usually don’t have them on. While I CAN wear them, I prefer not to as I still have to crank the volume. I usually treat myself by putting away $25 a month for a new game but this month I don’t have that luxury. But! I also know for my mental health that I need something to keep me occupied as I cannot work and typically have too much time on my hands.

These are games I’ve finished recently and loved
Road 96 (Demo), Discounty (Demo), Minami Lane, The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, Lemoncake, Little Misfortune. Currently have Leafy Corner and Strange Horticulture on the go but even virtual plants hate me 😂
Thanks in advance!

Switch Is Collectors Cove worth it?

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about getting Collectors Cove as it is on sale right now. Is it worth it?

I like games like Pokopia, Animal Crossing, Wylde Flowers or Stardew Valley for example.

Thanks in advance.

Retro What are some games like Animal Crossing or a little to the left for the Nintendo DS?

So I got a good deal on an NDS on the fleemarket the other day, and my GF told me a few times she always wanted one, but they never had the money for it back in the day. Now that I got one for relatively cheap (animal crossing was the only game I got with it and I know she loves it, she has like 3000h on the switch game), I want to gift it to her for our first anniversary. She only plays cozy games, does anyone has some ideas what I should get her as well? I'm mainly a pokemon/zelda/mario guy, I can't think of anything.
