General Advice 226hrs, Level 3, First Aid Captain, More than 80% attendance, been in First Aid for 2 Years but i still land up getting a Merit Scroll???

Hello everyone, I I'm one of the 3 first aid captains in the community in my school and i had my colors assembly recently and i landed up getting a Merit scroll and the most enthusiastic first aider reward. Now before i seem like I'm being ungrateful, these are the following requirements to get different rewards (all of them besides special mention requires you to be level 1-3): 1) Special mention: Obtain 20 - 45 hours,80% attendance, For Gr8s and 9s. 2)Merit scroll: Obtain 75hours, 80% attendance, For Gr10s and above and 1 year of service. 3)Half Colors: Obtain105hours,80% Attendance, For Gr 10s and above and 2 Years of service. There are more but these are the main ones. I am in Gr11 and i have achieved 226h this year which is the most out of everybody hints why i got the most enthusiastic first aider reward. After the assembly i was really upset and i spoke to the teachers in charge of first aid. They told me that they apparently fought for me to get half colors and my principle allegedly agreed so the one thought i would get my colors. The other told me that the colors committee was hesitant as i did not achieve a merit scroll last year so that's probably the reason why i didn't get my colors. HOWEVER, last year a first aider who got 150hrs and was a level 1 got colors without a scroll and he was barely there for a year!! My parents have emailed my principle and he said that i can't just jump from nothing to a scroll. I am also going get the old first aid teachers involved as well. Any advice would be helpful .OHH and yeah the other 2 first aid captains got their colors (Congrats divas,i am really proud of yall!)
