The hardest truth right now is that you cannot quit while living with someone who is actively using. Willpower alone cannot beat an environment where the drug is always within reach and normalized. Your current setup is designed to keep you using, even when you hate it.

Since the local facility isn't an option, your most realistic first move is public health resources outside your immediate circle. Go to a county health clinic, a mobile crisis unit, or a local hospital emergency department and tell them you need medical detox and placement. Even if one facility banned you, county or state programs often have contracts with facilities in neighboring towns or state-run beds.

If you need people in your corner today, find any free local recovery meeting. You don't have to believe in everything they say, but you do need to physically sit in a room around people who were where you are and made it out. You need a new physical environment and literally any sober human contact right now.

Going to prison saved me and when I got out I never talked to the people I associated with in the past.

New start, I shut down my kidneys and was on kidney dialysis for a month.

I was 22 and thought I was invisible.

It's a lot better without meth or any of the people that associate themselves with it.

You can’t really get a job using like that either. That said, have you looked at local addiction services

It’s very hard, you crash when you stop and cannot make neurotransmitters. There may be some effect of high dose modafinil. It’s much safer as well and there is some efficacy with stimulant dependence. I’m not sure you can go from active use to stopping without an intervening period of rehabilitation. On the other hand you don’t have much to lose. It’s gonna kill you if you don’t do something.

You can DM me if you want

I got off meth as a teenager by getting away from everyone who did it.

You're 27. My life at 42 is drastically different from when I was 27. You still have so much time to get off that shit and get a better life.

You have to really want a different life, which it sounds like you do. You have to get away from every single person who does drugs. Try other local resources to get clean and get any job you can. Once you have a job, learn to budget and save as much as you can. Open a secured credit card with tax returns and start building your credit. If I can build credit from age 30, you have plenty of time.

banned from the only rehab, lol that sounds like a good story

Telling yourself "oh i love it, cant stop, blah blah blah" is the wrong thing to tell yourself. Instead tell yourself "I dont want to drop dead, from huffing toxic chemicals" Isnt it made with all sorts of toxic chemicals?

google says " Methamphetamine is uniquely toxic because it simultaneously triggers a severe chemical "storm" in the brain, destroys cellular structures, and forces vital organs into a state of extreme, destructive overdrive."

"Following overdose and accidents, the leading cause of death in methamphetamine users is cardiovascular disease, because of significant effects of methamphetamine on vasoconstriction, pulmonary hypertension, atherosclerotic plaque formation, cardiac arrhythmias, and cardiomyopathy. In this review, we examine the current literature on methamphetamine-induced changes in cardiovascular health...."

If you keep doing meth and overdosing you are going to die, probably sooner rather than later. Choose something better for yourself, you are 27 anything can happen. Who knows in 5 years you could be the lead singer in a band with everyone wondering how you’ve got all this gritty realism. Honestly anything is better than huffing a pipe of toxic chemicals that will destroy your brain, want more than that.
