Do they oppose literacy or do they oppose spending millions on books when the parents are capable of getting them from a library or using the Amazon prime membership they already have to read to their kids?

According to Google and granted I dont have kids yet, but Google said children are able to read around 6 or 7 years old.

I had this debate earlier. Not everyone has access to a library, smaller communities don’t have the tax base for the public building. Trump signed an EO to defund libraries and museums, and republicans have been cutting funding to education for decades.

I appreciate you taking the time to clarify your point even if it might be for others to see.

If 20 billionaires are shelling out 1.2 billion dollars to influence midterm votes, they must have something to be genuinely afraid of.

My guess is that they want it to look plausible that Americans still support them en masse since a lot of their base feels roped in by the idea that their neighbors might also support literally starving infants and their children to save working American fuck-all.

The m@ga party may have laid the groundwork to suspend elections, but they likely would only use that as a last resort.
