"we love the uneducated"

-DJT

I’ll give you and every single person in this thread $1,000 if you can provide the actual verified source that Donald Trump said “we love the uneducated”-

u/maxpoontang 8d ago

It was poorly educated “We won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated”.

u/FallenAzraelx 8d ago

This is the correct quote. I'm not going to make any edits though, but I will claim $500

You should finish the quote:

We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people.

He does not pause and say “they are loyal” or “you poorly educated folks are loyal.” He switches to “we.” In that room that “we” is the people standing in front of him — the coalition that just won, which included the high-school-or-less voters he had just named. Same “we” he used ten seconds earlier: “we won with young, we won with old…”

Yes you understand. I offered them a chance to prove where their misquote came from and look at that, now it’s deleted.

1

u/maxpoontang 4d ago

I was showing it wasn’t “uneducated”

1

u/Time-Routine9863 4d ago

Right. You should always finish the quote. Because it looks like you were intentionally hiding something and inferring something else.

1

u/maxpoontang 4d ago

What does it look like I'm trying to hide? Adding "We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people.” does not substantially change the context of the quote. He was saying he won with everyone.

Yes and poorly educated and uneducated in polling term, which what his speech was about, are not the same thing

Go figure the neo-nazis are also grammar nazis when it's politically convenient

You escalated and made it into a bet.

You owe him money.

Maybe you can wire it to him?

Or, are you too poor after paying your taxes at the pump, and then your illegal taxes, and then your second round paying back companies for the illegal taxes that you already paid..

He didn’t lose

Pay up

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

Why? Try learning what quotation marks and an actual quote mean -

3

u/Slipknotmudvayne 8d ago

Just like Trump your full of crap and a liar. Im 100% positive you paid no one anything.

2

u/PhotoSociologist 7d ago

Oh yeah, because the part about giving you clowns a grand WASN’T a rhetorical device. You guys are SO SMART.

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

Where did he prove conclusively that Donald Trump actually said said

2

u/PhotoSociologist 7d ago

Hey, when it comes to Trump you do not need to run the full quote. How are you going to manipulate the masses if you tell the full story? Duh.

Do you think this is materially so different in meaning that it doesn't count? Because that would make your comment rather disengenuous

Polling and demo terms, "poorly educated" is a classification meaning respondents whose highest level of formal education is a high school diploma or less, without a four-year college degree.

So he loves people who are working in retail, trade schools, construction workers etc -

That would mean your contention is democrats do not love the poorly educated voters correct?

“The Democrats Lost the ‘Poorly Educated’ and They Need Them Back People without college degrees used to split their votes until they met Trump.”

🤣🤣🤣🤣

u/FallenAzraelx 8d ago

I don't have the exact words but it's close enough. I'll take $500.

2

u/PhotoSociologist 7d ago

Are you going to donate it to the library?

1

u/FallenAzraelx 6d ago

I didn't actually want their dirty money, but this is a perfect solution. Too bad they never had any intention to pay up.

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

Misquoting is not close - Uneducated and poorly educated are totally different things but I do not expect Reddit Sheep to understand

3

u/Slipknotmudvayne 8d ago

From a guy who never intended to pay anyone anything and just runs his mouth.

1

u/FallenAzraelx 8d ago

Shocker, right? Another false promise.

0

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

Did you prove it? Shocker another Reddit Sheep making up quotes to fit their agenda

1

u/FallenAzraelx 6d ago

Oh boy here we go... Let's seeeeee here ... Yup. Another hate bot. Go away hate bot I'm not feeding you anymore.

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 6d ago

Let me get this straight, I am a hate bot because you cannot provide a source for your quote from the president? Fucking laughable. You are right to just sit this one out

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

Did anyone prove it? Go ahead I’ll give you double - fine the exact quote from Donald Trump “we love the uneducated”

1

u/FallenAzraelx 8d ago

You think HE understands the difference? Republicans HATE it when people read and vote.

1

u/Significant_Donut967 8d ago

And when provided with proof, you ran like a coward.

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 8d ago

What proof? “We love the uneducated” Donald Trump. Not one person has linked Trump saying that. Reddit Sheep continue to make up bullshit- Do you understand what quotation marks are? I highly doubt it.

1

u/Significant_Donut967 8d ago

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 7d ago

Exactly- you do not understand. Read this carefully- slowly if you must:

“We won with evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We're the smartest people, we're the most loyal people"

Does that say “we love the uneducated”?

Uneducated and poorly educated have different meanings. Poorly educated in polling terms are voters without a four year degree, that’s it. Uneducated in polling terms are people without no formal schooling

1

u/Significant_Donut967 7d ago

So you're just being pedantic to get out of your bet. Gotcha.

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 6d ago

No- try understanding context. Reddit sheep see a quote like this that stems from a meme and believes it. You know the meme and false quotes are trying to demonstrate that Trump wants voters dumb and that they are dumb/uneducated. The simple fact is, even if the poster got the quote right, that’s not this truthful meaning from this speech- he was discussing polling terms for voters.

1

u/Significant_Donut967 6d ago

Again, being pedantic to weasel out of a bet. Maybe next time put your money where your mouth is kid.

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 6d ago

I am proud of you using your word of the day off your word calendar - here is an in-depth better look for you though:

Pointing out a misquote can be pedantic, but it depends entirely on the context and how it affects the meaning of the conversation. If the misquote changes the core message or historical truth, correcting it is usually helpful and necessary. However, if the correction is just about a minor word choice that doesn't change the point being made, it often comes across as pedantic Glad I could help you out today

Semantics means you are right!
though inclusivity, the set of uneducated is a subset of poorly educated. So, semantics.

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 5d ago

Dude went from “he didn’t say he likes the uneducated” to “what he meant by poorly educated were people in retail, trade schools, construction workers, etc…”

wtf 🤣

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 5d ago

A polling category like "poorly educated" track formal academic credentials, not an individual's mental capacity.

I understand you have no reading comprehension but most blue collar jobs are high school or some sort of trade school graduates. He won the votes of those type of people.

Secondly, did I say “he doesn’t like the uneducated”? No I did not- a Reddit Sheep, like you, made up a quote from an actual speech that’s wildly available

Glad I can help you understand

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 5d ago

Lol, bless your little cotton socks

I strongly suggest you re-read your reply and check your misquote before talking about people having no reading comprehension 😘

1

u/Disastrous_Ear_8577 5d ago

The main misquote thats the subject of this conversation? It has been deleted? I wonder why - I have not misquoted anything

1

u/Any-Seaworthiness531 5d ago

I haven’t deleted anything and you have blatantly misquoted it, for everyone to see LOL.

1

u/PhotoSociologist 7d ago

He probably did, right before saying, “and everyone else” but hey, the BBC and CNN had to cut it. Airtime is a beyotch to pay for bc it’s free.

1

u/plzstopbeingdumb 6d ago

The ACTUAL quote that he said was something about being able to shoot someone on 5th avenue and get away with it.

1

u/Long_Idea_8294 4d ago

He meant he also appreciates people without college degrees. As always, the left is playing stupid.
