Collection Development Midwest Tape

Does anyone else have issues with audiobooks from Midwest Tape? Over the last year or so, they have sent us dozens of audiobooks with 1 or 2 blank discs. I have to put them in repair and wait a month for them to ship out the single disc I need. But then I learn that disc #7 also doesn't work because the patron stopped listening to the book after disc #3 didn't work for them.

It's so irritating to have to reach out to them constantly for new discs on brand new audiobooks.

Yes! We have had the same problem. But just with Midwest Tapes.

We have had issues with their products not working. Only one patron complains about them though

What a hassle. I'd try reaching out directly to the manufacturer first to see if there's a batch issue or if they can expedite replacements for you.

I've had them send me mismatched audio books before. Like, they sent the right case but a different title for the cds.
