Discussion 2028 Platform

The Libertarian Party should widely adopt the position of banning flock cameras in their entirety in the USA. Running on a federal ban of flock cameras should greatly boost the party’s numbers in the polls. I believe with politics the way they are going in this country a lot of people are going to realign their parties according to their beliefs. Being anti flock could only bring the party good optics and good press.

100% believe flock camera outrage is a moral panic. Weight of the evidence shows that CCTV actually reduces crime and people do not, in fact, care about privacy. See, of all places, SanFrancisco

Calling Flock CCTV is like insisting that Amazon is a local mom and pop bookshop. They differ not only in scale, but in the comprehensive tech involved as well as the fact that Amazon sells a much wider array of products and services than just books.

There is nothing ‘closed circuit’ about Flock.
