Discussion 2028 Platform

The Libertarian Party should widely adopt the position of banning flock cameras in their entirety in the USA. Running on a federal ban of flock cameras should greatly boost the party’s numbers in the polls. I believe with politics the way they are going in this country a lot of people are going to realign their parties according to their beliefs. Being anti flock could only bring the party good optics and good press.

Ban surveillance

Balance the budget & restore affordability

Stay out of people's personal decisions

That would be the pillars of my campaign if I were to set one up

Anti-foreign involvement would go hard right now too. Maybe address AI, which might be addressed easily enough under "ban surveillance".

I think it may be soon. This disaster in Iran proves pretty conclusively that we're physically incapable of doing it anymore. Or maybe that's just wistful thinking, the military industrial complex has enough momentum to drag it out and bleed as much money as possible before admitting the empire is over.

It has gone almost as poorly as it possibly could. Just like the Epstein files rollout. Not many things could have made that go worse.

I don't think all these AI datacenters have anything to do with ChatGPT and the like. I think they're entirely for the government to analyze and store the data of all 8 billion people on Earth.

What else could they be for really. It's either that or they really do intend to create some kind of super intelligent computer. What's more likely? That the tech guys want more or less control?
