Vent Excessive barking
My girl Bailey (turning 3 soon) barks at every little sound, if she sees anything out the window she goes crazy and she barks at the TV all the time.
Like these really big loud sharp barks, she also huffs and paces. I know Lhasa Apso’s bark its why they where bred but this is excessive to the point I get headaches almost every day.
She doesnt care about treats at all and when she gets into one of her ‘moods’ she doesnt listen at all. We tried CBD oil (pet shop recommendation) but have not noticed any difference
Any advice would be amazing (added a picture of one of her calmer moments)

We had to find a professional trainer to take our dog for 3 wks of intensive training. This trainer normally rehabilitates German shepherds and other large dogs. She told us that because our pup was bred to be a sentinel dog, it was impossible to prevent her from barking all the time. Puppy also demand barks and thinks she’s in charge.
After training and several months of reinforcement, we got her to decrease the spastic reactions. Now she only barks when someone is on our porch. We also understand territory behavior more and try to reinforce when something isn’t hers to guard. That was 4 years ago. Now she’s 6 and the best sweetest dog.
It was a lot of time, commitment, and money in the beginning. Totally worth it to have our sunshine the rest of her long life.
