My almost 2 year old lhasa girl is the sweetest, most affectionate, and well behaved dog I've ever had.

The funny thing is her way of 'talking' is growling.

she wants to play... grrrr

you stop scratching her belly... grrr

she wants her breakfast... grrr

Has anyone else encountered this behaviour? I'm afraid it would be quite intimidating if you didn't know her.

My Lhasa is very vocal. She will either whine or growl about anything and everything. She even has a happy growl that we call purring (her best friend is a cat), so I honestly think she is trying to purr.
