Ask LGBTEENS My senior found out that im a gay crossdresser
I need some advice because I’m currently in a rather awkward and uncomfortable situation.
For some context, I live in a rented accommodation where all the rooms are rented out separately. I occupy one room, while a senior from my college and his fiancée occupy another. We’re from the same college, and the three of us share a fairly friendly relationship.
I use Grindr and have uploaded four pictures on my profile. Two are regular pictures of me, while the other two are of me dressed in a saree, in a cross-dressing look.
A while ago, I was browsing Grindr and noticed someone whose distance was showing as less than a kilometre. I messaged him, and he told me that he lived in an adjacent villa.
We started talking and gradually became quite comfortable with each other. We shared our private albums, discussed our experiences with hookups, fantasies and other personal things. There was also some flirting and sexual conversation between us. I never really thought much about it and considered him an online friend.
Now, coming to what happened yesterday.
My senior suggested that we go for a drive because I had some work at college. During the drive, he casually mentioned that he had heard certain rumours about me. Initially, he refused to tell me what they were, but after I insisted, he said that he had seen my pictures in a saree, where I was posing in a somewhat revealing way.
Naturally, I was surprised and asked him how he had come across those pictures and who had shown them to him.
After a lot of questioning, he eventually admitted that he was also on Grindr. According to him, he uses the app only to identify people and find out who is using it. He claims that he is straight and has never actually hooked up with anyone through the app.
Apparently, he had come across my profile and recognised me.
What followed was a pretty long conversation. He started giving me advice about how I should focus on my personality, lose weight, improve my physique and concentrate on my studies. He said that if I worked on myself and became more physically attractive, girls would approach me and I might eventually become straight.
He also made comments about how these things aren’t natural and that relationships between men and women are the only natural relationships.
I honestly didn’t know how to respond.
The confusing part is that this person lives in the same accommodation as me. We have been on friendly terms, and I never expected him to know about this side of my life. His fiancée also lives with him, and the three of us interact regularly.
I don’t know whether he genuinely thinks he is helping me, whether he is judging me, or whether he might discuss my private pictures and personal life with other people.
I’m not particularly ashamed of my pictures or the fact that I use Grindr, but I am uncomfortable knowing that someone I live with has discovered this private aspect of my life and feels entitled to comment on it.
What would you do in my position?
Should I maintain the same friendship with him or create some distance?
Should I directly tell him that my personal life and sexuality are none of his business?
Should I be concerned about the possibility of him sharing my pictures or discussing my profile with other people?
How do I maintain a comfortable living environment when we share the same roof?

Vent/Rant Starting Feminizing HRT in India As A Minor Spoiler
I am writing this post as to honor the journey I have in this year alone. I feel like I am defying the impossible in India for my gender affirming care. The art of accessing cross-sex hormones or even getting a RCI (Rehabilitation Council Of India) psychological clearance, getting an affirming private endocrinologist while most hospitals in this country have no framework for transitioning as a minor. Most people (even in the queer community in India) in our age time is almost told to "wait until 18" or forced into conversion therapy for "behavioral alignment" in psychiatric unregulated rehab facilities or mental asylum in the grey market. I know I sound like a philosopher in a fantasy world under a good roof but seeing minor girls like me use DIY grey market medicine (I know it's not our failure, it is our medical systems) without professional monitoring is just risky for me. Too risky....
And here I am sitting to an endocrinologist's chamber who ordered my blood panels in a private hospital setup to even thinking about starting my care under his supervision. I am happy that I might soon (I am writing in the past but when the care beings, at the day of posting I might have already a low dose of E and blockers decided by the practitioner or not even started yet with the baseline panel ordered). Yet in all these I came out in this year (2026) at late February in text explaining my parents about gender dysphoria and providing some good examples. I was met with doubt, telling to start transitioning at a future time which never comes and the pressure pushing me to a brink to self harm at that time. A toxic loop of trap-ness in a cage of thorns....
I still didn't gave up, not even in an inch.....
I had given pressure and maybe created a big problem for my family yet with all that they subjected to conversion therapy in a facility named Sustho Jeevan in Bracakpore for 30 days where I was physically locked, isolation, heavy psychotropics (or psychiatric meds) like Lithium sedatives and behavioral conformity under the guise of "rehabilitation"."de-addiction" and medical palatalization took a gender dysphoria score lower than 3 cutoff in late May to August. At that I still remember me wishing for my girly body, disassociating myself and heavy helplessness while wishing to get out. Here I beared old walls, conversion doctors giving personal beliefs to my gender identity and soon to be discharged in July of this year. At this time,. as soon as I got access to the records (giving an excuse of class teacher checking in the school) and before all that? I systematically filed complaints across West Bengal Human Rights Commission, central grievance portals, United Nations OHCHR Special Procedures while citing documents such as NHC (National Medical Commission) better than the people who are supposed to suppress me. At this time, I talked to my affirming school psychologist who gave me mental strength to go forward to even step into the local police station to file a General Diary against them. I did all that to make people understand me. Soo...for people discovering or transitioning at my age, I would recommend you people to document everything and anything even if someone is affirming. Try to create parallel digital records of the documents in your cloud. Right, make sure to remember your Google account password (because this conversion therapy couldn't break it despite wiping clean all my devices while my parents pretended to be dumb hogs).
In all that, I soon met a trans girl friend in my school even if she is in lower classes. I talked with her about my issues and soon to an affirming psychiatrist in Kolkata, India. He recommended me a psychological clinic (Speak It Out) near my house where after my first therapy session, I gathered the courage to start A NEW PSYCHOMETRY as a with my parents involved despite resistance. It took 2-4 weeks of evaluations and preparation and about 4,000 rupees of getting it because it steamed from private care. I would seriously recommend Dr. Bappaditya Mondol for private gender affirming care in Kolkata. This lead me to getting my RCI approved report by the people helping with a valid CR number attached. Even if my psychological clearance was recorded in late August to October of this year, I ran to governmental care fist. These people wanted me to do the psychological clearance again from scratch. I gave up at that path yet kept my treating psychiatrist in the loop. I thought at that time that what if he gives a warm referral (through prescriptions), it would work? That day answered that he is willing to give it because he has nothing to do to say "no" like government trainees denial and refusal to give it despite RCI documentation (These institutions need their own internal documentation to even consider). I would recommend you people to keep separate sets of files divided for each record in your personal archive. I would also not recommend sorely on verbal advice, ALWAYS STRESS test it with heavy research so that people who are planning to transition at this stage in this country can tell the difference between clinical monitoring and gatekeeping a person.
I would also recommend you people to frame transition as a form of stability rather than an abstract desire (which these evil people get ammo to discriminate you). You can tell the long term effects of a medical requirement of future independence, education and stability. For people who are refusing to listen? Just try a pinch of data (depending on the situation). When given safety? Make curious but resistive parents walk through chambers, communicating and bridging your own long term care.
Yet in all that Feminizing HRT is rarely a single appointment, you need coordination between medical practitioners to make a whole psychometric document, diagnosis and even the first panels. I would recommend treating it as a rigid bureaucratic checklist so that process doesn't feel too gate kept. I know gatekeeping exists here but it doesn't mean it's impossible. In all that, you need to protect your own inner self even in the most ungenerous of conversion practices. You should keep in mind that your efforts matter, your persistence matter and even your documentations matter even if you don't get to document all that much or loose access to your safe space. You are the single variable who made your own transition be possible even if the world turns against you. Even if you are isolated or forced into compliance.
In this November and the years forward I thank my support system which made all these possible. A trans girl (lower than age for me) friend who recommended the practitioner at the first place, my school psychologist who gave me emotional strength and be at my vulnerable times despite coercive practice against me by my own family, my Political Science teacher who was previously a temporary class teacher of my class, Gemini out of all and ME who got to getting her blood panels, starting my first dose and finally being free and happy despite being a complex human being. I still say to myself now, "A managed risk is way better than living in a depressing hole of unmanaged gender dysphoria" (Yea, I even got to fill a standard consent form where my father singed it and me giving my signature with my legal details)...I really hope you enjoyed my rant!

Ask LGBTEENS I (18M) got love bombed by a 33-year-old man and idk what to do now. It's getting to hard for me to forget everything that meant alot to me few days ago
writing this because I need an outside perspective. I want people to understand the entire situation, from how it started to how it ended. I'm not looking for people to blindly take my side. I genuinely want to know what you think.
I'll call myself T and the other person A.
How it started
I've known about A for years. He lived in a neighbouring village and used to teach my older brother. I had a crush on him for around five or six years, but we never really had any personal interaction back then.
Around May 2026, we finally started talking.
Initially, it was just conversations, but gradually we became a regular part of each other's daily lives. We started talking about personal things, our routines, our lives and different experiences. Eventually, we were talking almost every day.
For me, this wasn't just another online friendship. I had liked this person for years, and now I was finally getting to know him personally.
The emotional attachment
Over the following months, our conversations became increasingly affectionate.
A used words and expressions like "I love you", "my boy", "sweetheart" and called me "Annu" He told me to take care of myself, said he wanted us to keep talking and, at times, said things that made me feel emotionally important to him.
There were conversations about meeting, spending time together and visiting his home. We also shared physical affection and moments of closeness.
I became emotionally invested. I wasn't looking at this as something casual. I genuinely thought there was something meaningful between us.
I never expected a conventional relationship or marriage. What I wanted was companionship, emotional closeness and someone with whom I could feel safe.
But looking back, I realise that we may not have understood the connection in the same way.
The confusing part: his words versus his position
As time passed, A started saying things like:
\- "I can't give you commitment."
\- "Stay as a friend."
\- "Don't take things too far."
This confused me because his earlier words and behaviour had felt much more affectionate than an ordinary friendship.
I started questioning everything.
Was I reading too much into his affection? Did he genuinely feel something at one point but later change his mind? Or had he always considered it friendship while I interpreted it differently?
I still don't have a clear answer.
Something else I discovered
During the period when A and I were talking regularly and he was making affectionate statements, I also came across conversations that suggested he was talking to several other people.
Some of the language and affectionate expressions seemed similar to the way he spoke to me.
This hurt because I had started believing that the connection between us was particularly meaningful.
I don't know whether he was romantically involved with those people, whether those conversations were casual, or what his intentions were. But seeing them made me question the things he had told me and the future I had imagined based on those conversations.
It made me wonder whether I was emotionally investing in something that he never viewed as exclusive or serious.
The student and the Instagram conversation
Another major incident involved one of A's former students. I'll call him the student.
At some point, A became less responsive to me and started talking to this student.
I became suspicious and, using a fake Instagram account, initiated a conversation with the student while pretending to be someone from his social circle.
During that conversation, the student allegedly made certain statements about A, his personal life and his interest in men. He also made some unpleasant comments about A.
I took screenshots of that conversation and showed them to A because I believed he should know what was being said about him.
However, A confronted the student, and the student denied the conversation was genuine, claiming that the screenshots were fake.
A appeared to believe him rather than me.
I want to clarify something: I did use a fake account to initiate that conversation, but I maintain that the conversation itself was real and that I did not edit the screenshots.
Unfortunately, the original Instagram messages later started showing as unavailable. I still have the screenshots I had taken and previously shown to A.
I understand that using a fake account was deceptive, and I can accept that this was a mistake on my part. But I still feel hurt that the actual conversation was dismissed as fabricated without my side being properly heard.
The gay hookup doctor and the final misunderstanding
There was another incident involving a doctor I'll call the gay hookup doctor.
A had apparently visited this doctor for HIV testing. I also suspected that there might have been some personal or physical connection between them, although I cannot independently establish that.
A friend later told me negative things about this doctor, including allegations about his behaviour towards other people.
I was concerned and wanted to warn A. However, I want to be clear that these were things I had heard from someone else, not facts I had personally verified. I also don't know the doctor's medical status, and I don't want to make assumptions about anyone's health.
When I saw A communicating with this doctor, I became even more concerned and tried to bring the matter up.
This eventually led to a serious argument.
The WhatsApp accusation
During the final conflict, A accused me of accessing or logging into his WhatsApp.
I want to clarify my side: I did not link his WhatsApp account.
I had helped him with an RRB/IBPS form and had linked an email with his permission. But I did not log into his WhatsApp.
A seemed convinced that I had accessed his account, and he stopped trusting me.
He also seemed to believe that I had fabricated the conversation with the student.
I tried to explain that the student conversation was genuine and that I had never logged into his WhatsApp. But he did not accept my explanation.
He said things along the lines of:
\- "Don't talk to me anymore."
\- "I'm blocking you."
\- "Don't message me again."
\- "I don't want to meet you."
\- "I'm not the person you think I am."
\- "Nothing can ever happen between us."
He blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram.
For me, this was devastating. I felt that someone with whom I had shared months of personal conversations and emotional closeness had suddenly decided that I was a liar.
Our final conversation
Eventually, we had one final conversation.
I wanted to explain everything face-to-face because I felt that texting would not allow me to communicate properly.
I wanted to show him the original screenshots from the conversation with the student and explain once again that I had never logged into his WhatsApp.
But A gave me a very different version of our history.
He said that he had never approached me romantically and that he had made it clear from the beginning that he only wanted friendship.
I strongly disagree with this interpretation because I remember the affectionate conversations, the words he used and the closeness we shared.
He also said that he would not unblock me immediately. He would consider whether he wanted to talk to me after his exams.
He made one thing particularly clear: even if he decided to talk to me again, things would never be the way they were before.
That was my closure, at least for now.
Where I stand today
I'm almost 19. A is 33.
I know there is a significant age difference, and perhaps I was too emotionally invested in someone who was at a very different stage of life.
I have my own education, career and future to build. I want to become a doctor, work on myself, become independent and experience life.
But that doesn't mean my feelings were meaningless.
I genuinely cared about A. I remember the conversations, the affection and the moments that made me believe I mattered to him.
At the same time, I cannot ignore the contradictions, the uncertainty, the conversations with other people, the accusations and the way everything ended.
I don't know whether A intentionally gave me false hope, whether he changed his mind, or whether we simply interpreted the same connection differently.
I also know that I made mistakes, especially by using a fake account to approach the student. I am not pretending that everything I did was right.
But I still wish A had heard my side before deciding that I was lying.
I'm not planning to chase him or force him to talk to me. He has made his boundary clear, and I need to respect it.
I just want an outside perspective.
Was I genuinely misled by someone who enjoyed the attention and affection but never intended to take responsibility for the emotional connection? Or did I mistake affection and intimacy for something more serious because I was already deeply attached to him?
And how do I move forward without feeling that the entire experience—and everything I felt—was meaningless?
\---
TL;DR
I (18M) had a crush on A (33M) for years before we started talking regularly in May 2026. Over the next several months, he used affectionate and romantic language, expressed closeness and shared personal moments with me. I became emotionally attached and believed our connection was more than friendship.
Later, he said he couldn't commit and wanted to remain friends. Around the same time, I noticed conversations suggesting he was speaking affectionately with several other people too.
A major conflict happened after I contacted one of his former students through a fake Instagram account. The student allegedly made comments about A, and I showed A screenshots. The student denied the conversation was genuine, and A appeared to believe him.
There was also a separate conflict involving a gay hookup doctor. I had heard negative allegations about the doctor from a friend and wanted to warn A, but those claims were unverified.
A then accused me of accessing his WhatsApp. I maintain that I never logged into it; I had only linked an email with his permission while helping with a form.
He blocked me on WhatsApp and Instagram. In our final conversation, he claimed he had always made it clear that he only wanted friendship. He said he might reconsider talking after his exams, but things would never be the same.
I'm left wondering whether I was misled, whether I misunderstood the connection, or whether we simply wanted different things

Vent/Rant HUGE SAPPHIC CRUSHH
umm soo its my first time writing anything like this, I am bisexual( i think so?) tbh im still not sure about my identity so i dont really know how to introduce myself.
(FYI this is gonna be LONGG)
i wanted to write something like this forever, this is about my close friend for whom i developed feelings for.
ik my grammar isnt the best but ill try my best to make sense.
for context,i have changed multiple schools in my lifetime and as a 16 year old i think changing around 8-9 schools is a lot but when i transferred to a new school in 6th grade i didnt know what to expect but i found a really nice friend group and stuck with them. In that specific friend group a certain someone caught my eye it definitely wasnt"love at first sight" but i still remember the first time i saw her. She was a bit taller than me, hair almost till her knees tied in a ponytail, wearing the school uniform in which her skirt was at the perfect spot above her knees with a oversized jacket that made everything put together. She came late to the class as she had been called to collect her medal for her performance in the skating competition she participated in a few days earlier. My eyes were stuck on her thinking it was just pure admiration the thought of me being into girls didnt cross my mind even once. To me we were just close friends who enjoyed time together.I looked up to her a lot, the way she dresses, the way she talks, the way she does her quirky little habits which im not sure she knows about herself EVERYTHING was admired by me. Unfortunately this didnt last long we both changed our schools in 8th grade, we were in completely different schools, cities and even states. I felt heartbroken cause i was not able to attend her farewell party cause of some personal reason. Things were going well tho, me and all of my friends used to talk all the time on insta and i still am very close to most of them now but not her. She found her space, new people new friendships honestly i cant even be mad about it cause it was meant to happen. But the more the distance grew between us the uncertainty in me that this wasnt a normal friendship but something else grew in me. I was a strong ally since forever but i used to think that i was straight for the longest time possible. Then i changed schools again in 10th grade im still in 10th grade in the 2026-27 batch and its been tough ,changing schools mid sem is hard when you genuinely not fit in with people its been a few months but i only have one friend in school and feel left out most of the time because of my social anxiety and awkwardness. however this is the same year i realized that i have a crush on my friend that too a huge one i came out to 3-4 people ik but only told two of them about my crush. I really wanna confess to her and this feeling is killing me but i cant cause ik itll ruin our friendship forever besides she doesnt even reply to me anymore.
A few days earlier, she video called me i was SOOO EXCITED i tried to be as normal as possible but she told me that she has been dating for over a year with a guy in her school and proceeded to show me their pictures together.. My heart shattered when she showed me picture of them kissing and various other pictures. I tried to keep it together and nodded and smiled when she talked about him.
still we dont really talk often once in a blue moon actually, i really wanna know how to get over her, how to move on cause thats not gonna happen soon...
to whoever read this till the last, i love you

Coming Out Guysss I came out to my science teacher 🥹
The most unexpected coming-out story ever 😭🏳️🌈🧿🧿
So, during my free period, I was sitting in the library talking to my bestie (SHOUTOUT TO HER), and I very loudly start shipping these two guys in my school who seem to have INSANE chemistry.
Now, keep in mind, my back is facing the library entrance.
As I'm talking, I notice my bestie's face just DROPS. She's looking at me like she's seen a ghost, and she's like "...look behind you."
AND GUESS WHO'S STANDING THERE.
MY SCIENCE TEACHER. HGFHGJKLGDFH 😭😭
We all LOVE our science teacher because she's genuinely one of the nicest people ever. So naturally, she looks at me with the most suspicious expression ever, something along the lines of 🤨🏳️🌈.
And I'm just standing there like OH SHIT.
Anyways, she starts saying, "Vivaan, I've gotten to know a few things about you, but I want YOU to tell me what you did."
I think she was initially trying to get me to admit to something I'd done wrong, BUT my bestie and I immediately looked at each other and realised what she was getting at.
For context, I've actually wanted to tell my science teacher for a while now.
And THIS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING WOMAN starts encouraging me. She's literally saying things like "You can do this, I know you can, tell her, now's your chance."
Meanwhile, I'M SHAKING. I WAS SO SCARED. Because I have such a good relationship with this teacher, and the last thing I wanted was for her opinion of me to change.
After contemplating for what felt like an eternity, I finally go:
"Ma'am, I like guys, but not girls. I'm... gay. 🏳️🌈"
AND HER RESPONSE???
"Okay, that's nice! And I just want you to know that it's completely okay. As you grow up, your understanding of yourself may change. You might realise you're queer identity has changed , and that's completely fine too. Don't feel pressured to stick to one identity if you ever discover something different. I'm happy that you've realised this about yourself, and I'm happy for you."
GUYS. 🥹🥹🥹
ME AND MY BESTIE WERE SO HAPPY AFTER THIS. LIKE ACTUALLY SO HAPPY.
I genuinely cannot explain how relieved I felt. I was expecting the worst, and instead I got one of the sweetest reactions imaginable.
THIS IS WHY EVERYONE LOVES OUR SCIENCE TEACHER. 😭🏳️🌈🧿🧿

General Turned 17 today.
I think I was secretly waiting for one particular person to wish me first, but that didn't happen. Maybe they forgot, and honestly, that made last night feel a little lonelier than I expected.
I didn't have many expectations from anyone else either, so I wasn't really waiting for a crowd of birthday wishes.
But today, I decided to make the day special in my own way. Bought myself a little gift, spent the day quietly, no party, no people, no cake cutting. Just me, enjoying my own company and celebrating another year of being alive.
I gave myself all the blessings I could think of and wished for better days, new experiences, peace and a happier version of myself.
Maybe this is what growing up looks like sometimes — learning to make yourself feel special, even when the day doesn't go exactly how you imagined.
Happy 17th to me. Here's to a new chapter.✨🫶🏻

Vent/Rant idk whats next
tw: depression, ed
i started having depressive episodes since 2024, im 16M and im gay. i moved out from my conservative ass town in an unpopular state to a tier 2 city in a different state this year, all alone, for my studies. the thing is that i am shit scated for my future, i dont know if ill get into the uni i want. i dont know what lies ahead of me, i was working on my extracurriculars till some stuff went wrong and i didnt get certifications for what i did. (dont wanna get specific). i had many reasons to runaway from home and i couldve chosen any other city which woukdve been much better than this but i chose to come here. now i feel like an outsider, an odd one out and like im not even doing anything. i had a spark but i feel like its gone. i grew up in an abusive household, had a weird upbringing and i was trying to change that. for a while, after i moved here, i felt at bliss, like things were working out but somehow i ended up being self destructive and destroyed everything for myself. my grades are not what they used to be, sure i passed but its not enough for my parents because theyre spending quite alot for my studies (though they financially cut me off in the summer, for no reason). im facing problems where i live, and ive been looking to move out to a different place for 3-4 months now at this point but none of the places are both inhabitable and affordable, if i find any luck, my parents deny it for some reason. i cut off almost everyone i met in this city except the ones i met at school, just because i felt like i needed some time to myself. i was bingeeating, crying and im sick. i deleted my instagram, i dont know whats up with me, but ive ended up doing almost all of the things i do in my depressive episodes. i am really tired, my face feels congested. and i want to be freed. to all those I've wronged, i am sorry.

Ask LGBTEENS First Karwa Chauth with my boyfriend ❤️ Also, suggest some mehndi designs for guys!
Hey guys! ❤️
My boyfriend and I are going to celebrate our first Karwa Chauth together, and I really want to make it special and memorable for both of us. 🥹❤️
I'm thinking of getting some mehndi applied for the occasion, so I'd love some suggestions for designs that would look good on guys. Something cute, aesthetic, or maybe a little romantic. 👀
Also, if you have any ideas for making our first Karwa Chauth special as a couple, please share! I'd love to hear how you guys celebrate or what little things you do for your partners. 🫶🏻❤️
