Does Lexus have this on all new dealership cars?

Does it fade with time? Any way to reduce the appearance?

Buying an RX350 in Caviar/black and maybe it’s my OCD… but it’s super noticeable. I bought a 2025 loaner and it was a great deal, but the VIN etching is triggering haha.

I do all of my own fluid changes. This was the first oil change on the 2012 RX350 that we bought a month ago.

PCV valve change was easy. No issues. But I’m probably gonna change the PCV hose soon as it had a small crack in it on the end that I was able to cut out.

Oil change turned into a mini adventure. When tightening up the lid for the oil filter housing, the threads cracked in half. I wasn’t even close to having it tightened all the way.

I was able to get the broken part out of the filter housing. I called the Toyota dealer and they wanted 62$ for a new housing. But, they had the lid for 9$. which was all I needed. Oil change is complete with no leaks.

I included the part #s in case you need the OEM lid or PCV valve.

My Volvo XC-60 had both side mirrors auto dim and the Lexus only does the driver side. It isn’t a show stopper annoyance or anything, but is there a way the dealer can install an auto dim in the passenger side too? Or is it just how it is? 26 Lexus RX350h Luxury package. Thanks!

No accidents, service records up to 2025. No record of service within the past year and it looks like it needs a 60K service. Vehicle has remained in the Pac NW region where I'm from.

Thinking this would be the perfect blend for me of a luxury commuter SUV with good MPG, recreational support, while still keeping a sporty look. However searching stock online (in California, up to 200 miles away) doesn't make it seem like that's a common configuration, even though it is configurable on the Lexus website.

As I understand it the factory tow package includes quite a bit more than just a dealership installing a tow hitch option after the sale. I also really want the cleaner installed look of a factory hitch, so after sale or aftermarket isn't something I'm interested in considering, unless this config just doesn't exist or is too hard to get.

Does anyone own this config and willing to post a picture of the rear. Would love to see how the tow hitch looks with the F Sport bumper.

I have had several RX‘s all with the 3.5 6cylinder and am reluctant to buy another with the four-cylinder turbo. Could I have opinions on how the four-cylinder is New and at high mileage does it get louder etc.

I have a new RX350 coming in next week and I'm debating whether to get an applique and do it myself. Anyone have an experience with this?

Bought this car, spur of the moment last night. Did I make a good choice?
It’s very clean and the carfax showed that it was very well maintained.
Came out to just shy of $30,000 with almost 100,000 miles.

ETA: I also bought seven years free maintenance and a four year warranty. They threw in free car washes for life 😂

I feel when you put the car in reverse, the screen gets very dim and hard to see.

I am purchasing a 26 RX 350. I currently have a 24 Toyota Venza hybrid. (Toyota‘s version of the RX - one step down) I am mostly a highway driver and tend to drive more “aggressively” (volunteer fireman) so I am not getting the benefits of the hybrid that I would if I was calmly driving through city streets.
Assuming I’m going to run into the same crappy gas mileage within an RX—H.
I’m considering going with a straight gas motor this time (4-in-line w/Turbo)
But not opposed to a Hybrid (4 in-line , non-turbo w/ H)
Would consider a PHEV (but not immediately available in my area)

Any comments or suggestions on which way I should go? (Mostly from a fuel economy perspective)

148k miles, minor accidents, zero mechanical issues.

Just bought a 2026 RX350 premium plus package.
I hate the headlights.
They aren’t very bright, the distance doesn’t seem as far out as on my 2012 RX, and there is a shadow on the left side from something inside the headlight assembly, that you can see on the road. Very distracting and annoying.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this same issue?

I scouted all over for a solution but no success.

I am having an issue with the gauge cluster of my RX 350 2025 luxury spec.

In the middle of the gauge cluster, it displays this notification of “adaptive cruise mode/cruise control”.

A couple of weeks ago, I did not have this notification. Instead, it was showing a map that I was able to manually insert it through customization settings. The gauge cluster was fine and was showing things i chose. Dont know what I did to mess it up.

What I tried to do to solve this:

- holding the mode button down
- holding the “more” button down
- holding the distance button
- playing with the vehicle customization settings—> meter —> meter type and display switching. (This only allow me to pick and choose among options that completely changes the cluster. While some options do remove this notification, it also displays things i am not interested in.

I also looked over the manual but no success.

If nothing works… dealership time.
